Beercade is a BLAST to go to. They have a good selection of beers, and a great selection of arcade games.

I like Beercade because they always change up the beers they have on tap. It’s a great place to meet up with friends and hang out. They have old school video games and a change machines. There are two levels. The lower level can be rented for private parties. When not being rented out, they have flat fee unlimited gameplay. Check it out!

After some local recommendations that we make our way out to the Benson area on a Saturday night, we ventured here. Seemed to be alive with college aged kids, as well as the 20-something post grads. I wish my college had a bar like this! Perfect place for you and your friends to just kick-back and hang out. We decided we’d play some pinball and the losers would but the next round. It’s a good thing I’m decent at pinball ;). Cool bar to come when you’re in the area! I’d definitely be a frequent patron if I lived in Omaha.

What a find! As a pinhead who maintains an extensive collection of pinball and arcades at the Pennsylvania Pinball and Coin-Op Hall of Fame outside Pittsburgh, PA I have a high standard. Beercade greatly exceeded that standard with an amazing experience. This great combination of bar and arcade has a wonderful, clean atmosphere, and an amazing selection of games, beer and cocktails with a very friendly seating layout. On this cold rainy night, I wasn’t at all surprised to see this place hopping an hour after my early arrival(to get my game on). This is definitely a place for the 25 – 50 crowd of working professionals, but there was a nice blended crowd and a surprising number of women(take that 80s gaming nerds!). The bartender was superb and his knowledge of the vast beer selection and games win over the new clientelle. Prices are phenomenal and the games were all in perfect working order and extremely clean! This place is really a MUST go in the revitalized Benson district.

Visited Omaha from Iowa and went out with friends at night. This was one of the places we checked out on a street that featured many other bars. Idea of arcade games and beer just sounded good. This place is packed with classic games against the all the walls except the bar. Many pinball games, with classics like street fighter, Simpsons, area 51, and many others. It was a Saturday and the place was pretty crowded but we were still able to play machines we wanted to play. It was a bit of a tight squeeze because arcade machines were close to each other but we managed with our drinks. They had a small sitting area with about 8 tables that fit 4 each. I had a great experience playing old school arcades and having some drinks with friends. Games were cheap also and $ 10 could last you 2 hours plus. I could see this being a regular place I visit if they had one in my home town.

Was in Omaha for a night, so my friends and I decided to check out Beercade. Yup, you heard it… beer and arcade games! It brought back my childhood memories when my mom dropped me off at the mall arcade while she shopped on a Saturday afternoon. The setup is pretty simple. The building is long in length, with the bar on the left side and the arcade games along the walls. There are booth seating towards the back, so if you’re not a fan of playing games you can sit down and enjoy a drink still. They had The Simpsons, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Area 51, Tekken, Skee-Ball, Crazy Taxi, and a lot of other games. I was hoping they would have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or the X-Men games, and maybe some more driving/shooting games, but their selection was still pretty good. The majority of the arcade games my friends and I played only took a quarter, while the pinball machines took 2 quarters. So our $ 10 in quarters lasted while. Back in the day $ 5 seemed like a lot of money! I also realized that I’m not good at pinball :) The arcade games are also very close to one another, so when people are watching their friend’s play, it gets a little crowded, so you have to be careful with your drink. If you want a fun place to hang out with some friends for a bit, Beercade is your place. Oh and I must be old since button mashing tired out my forearms!

This place is my new favorite bar. Lots and lots of different beers to choose from and reasonable prices and good service. The games are what makes it fun. Most that I played were only .25-.50 per play which I thought was amazing. They have everything from Skee Ball to The Simpsons to Galaga to Crazy Taxi and even Tekken and Street Fighter. Tons of pinballs machines to play also. I would say the only downside is trying to find parking but that’s pretty much anywhere in Benson. Will be back for sure!

I really like Beercade a lot. Makes for a great after-dinner activity if you’re in the Benson area. We’ve been here a handful of times and will continue to go back. They change up their beers it seems every time we’ve been in there. I sampled the Heifferweizen and my husband got the Radler, which was pretty tasty. They have a variety of beers and something for everyone. They also have a variety of games including pin-ball, skew-ball, shooter games, driving games, and classic arcade games(Mario Bros, Pacman, Etc.). Definitely a great time and inexpensive compared to places such as Dave and Busters.

I love Beercade! What a fun bar… but I think that when you are in your mid 30’s, you are no longer cool enough to fit in here(I fit that demographic, unfortunately, haha! Also, try to the ‘Blinky’ shot. The best.

This place is so much fun. The best part is it’s $.25 to play the Simpsons game :). No but seriously this place is pretty fun and they have some good beer specials as well as friendly service.

My wife and I went to Beercade a couple weeks ago and it was a blast! They had different beers since I last visited Beercade last year so I had to analyze the current beer menu. I decided to try the Radler, which was amazing and it opened my eyes to the world of Radler beers. their happy hour is awesome too. I believe they give you a dollar of quarters to play with when you order a drink during their happy hour times, which I don’t remember that they are. The games are always fun. They are priced at the perfect price point, 25 cents to about a dollar per play. They also have some great oldie video games like Galaga that I LOVE. All in all, this place is always a blast to go to and I can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I visited here last month on a weekend trip to Omaha. The place is pretty cool — lots of fun video games and pinball. The beer board is easy to read and has a good selection. The only downsides are: no food and, given some time and effort, the place could be even cooler(some more décor, paint, etc)

My kind of place. Nostalgic video game and beer! Wish i could rent a room overhead. This was my first time coming to the new location and was nice to see one of the same bartenders from over a year ago.(Why have I not been to the new location sooner?) Happy hour is great and I ordered a pizza from down the street and had it in the new booths. Really great Idea. cant wait to go back and play some more old school games and some pinball.

One word = TEKKAN I love beercade. You can’t go wrong with cheep games, 1 $ bags of popcorn, quality drinks, and a good time. I’d probably still come here only for the games. This place has all the old school machines — from pinball to street fighter to skee ball to, of course, tekkan. The downstairs area allows you to purchase a wristband for a few bucks and gives you access to unlimited games(and Wii) and also has a full bar. Upstairs has a wide array of beer on tap and they carry midori instead of cheap melon liqueur, which for me is awesome. The couple of times I’ve gone, they catered Chinese or deli sandwiches which is a plus. They also have a hand sanitizer stand = a super plus. Games are 50 cents and service is quick and friendly. Also, I love that this place doesn’t blast music, so you can actually hear yourself talk or think. Fun and friendly crowd, good pit stop in Benson.

Beercade takes me back to my childhood days, playing arcade games after school with my grandparents since they would pick me up from school and take me for a snack and a few arcade games. This nostalgia lives on in Beercade, a craft beer establishment that makes a night out more than just drinking. No real food here(popcorn anyone?) but some great beer choices and mixed drinks. They have all my favorite childhood games such as mortal combat, street fighter, pinball galore, pac man etc. You’ll need some cash to exchange for quarters, and the machine only takes $ 1, $ 5. Alternatively you could come prepared with a roll of quarters or go to the basement for $ 3 all you can play for 3 hours. There are enough games down there to keep you occupied for 3 hours and you can even sit on a couch and play console games like Wii Mario cart with your friends on the big screen. There is a separate but smaller bar downstairs and it’s own set of bathrooms. A very unique and fun concept for your inner child’s night out.

So let me get this right. Beer. Videogames. Great selection of both? Why the hell not? With 27 taps on hand and a selection of bottles, Beercade is one of my favorite places to lose my quarters. The menu is on a vertically hung TV monitor that can be updated instantly. The vibe is slightly hipster, slightly geeky, and slightly beer connoisseur. I have enough of one or more of these qualities that I can indulge in some of my favorite pasttimes. Out of all the games I like the ones that remind me of my youth. Namely all of them. Sometimes I play pinball and other times it is multiplayer ‘the Simpsons’ a la TMNT. I used to go to a place called Sega City in Irvine and all they had was games. If they had that concept and added good beer, they would have to move to Omaha. My favorite time here was the Stone takeover. 27 different kinds of awesome beer. It really didn’t get better. If you don’t like people you can indulge in the gaming and if you don’t like games, then just sit at the bar. Downstairs has the earlier games like DigDug and Qbert, et al… $ 3 gets you unlimited gaming there. TL:DR; great bar with some fun games. enough to pass the time until you want to go elsewhere. Pro Tip: Happy hour gets you $ 1 of quarters to throw back into the games, leave a tip, or keep

I like pretty much all the things about this bar except for the lack of tables. I was there a couple of times on the weekend with my husband and our friends. It’s a good thing that they’re busy but I didn’t want to be hand-full with a drink in one hand and jacket on the other the entire time we were there till somebody seated left. Other than this small complaining, we enjoyed the drinks, atmosphere of the bar and bartenders who know what they’re doing. Speaking of which, if you like a alcohol that’s like a soft drink or want to try something that you can hardly have at any other bar but this place, order Rootbeer tapper. Many girls may like this one.

Stopped in during a pub crawl for the first time. Pretty cool concept for a bar. They have a nice selection of craft beers, and a good selection of old school arcade and pinball machines. If you grew up in the 80’s — early 90’s, some nostalgia will certainly kick in. Enjoyed a beer and spent some quarters on a couple games and enjoyed the scene.

Pretty simple concept here. A bar with a craft beer focus paired with an arcade equals: Beercade. For me, the best time to come here is during the day when the crowds are sparse, save for a few weird older guys obsessively playing pinball. Grab an IPA and go relive that part of your youth spent in dark video game arcades. While several of the games haven’t really aged all that well(both in playability and the shabbiness of the physical game units), it’s still fun to waste a few hours smashing buttons with your mind turned off. Know what would be super awesome? If they had a few cabinets set up where you could play classic NES, SNES and Sega Genesis games.
