My head always loves a good bookstore, and Barnes and Noble has always been more than just good. My hiney disagrees with my head, though, and wishes they would bring back the abundance of comfy chairs. I bought more when I could sit on something other than a hard wooden chair because I would take time to peruse a stack of books, fall in love with most of them, and take my new best friends home. Now I grab what I came to get and don’t take time to browse. Still, this is my go-​to place for books and magazines to cover nearly any topic. The membership program helps with the cost, both in the store and at Starbucks. And dontcha just love the new-​book smell of a good bookstore?

I think its the best bookstore in town. The books are kind of expensive but it has such a comfy interior that is well laid out. I would live there if I could!

Barnes and Noble bookstores are all the same, which is in its own way comforting… very nice on the inside, great ac, and I found the books I wanted with ease… the lady who checked me out seemed friendly, and I didn’t have to wait too long in line… I like buying books online, but there’s times it’s nice to go to a traditional store like B&N…

Although Borders is my preferred bookstore, BN is not so bad. I like the fact that they have a Starbucks. It’s a good place to go if you need to study or need to find a book quickly, since their selection is smaller than Borders. And everything is pretty easy to find.
I miss my Borders though! They shouldn’t have closed the only 3 we had in the metro area! They could have at least kept ONE open!

I must admit I hardly ever go into a bookstore anymore as I do most of my book purchasing online or digitally straight onto my Kindle for iPad. But I remember the children’s book section being pretty decent here and thought it would be a good place to leaf through some children’s books to get a better idea than an amazon review. I forgot HOW GOOD this Barnes and Noble Children’s Section is! it’s really a great place to bring your child and to sit and go through books and figure out what he/​she will like. I really enjoyed spending quality time here and finding some old favorites. I would have never been able to reciprocate getting the right books over the internet.

Anyone predicting the demise of the brick & mortar bookstore should check this place out. Today the place was packed! I wanted some travel mags and they have a good mag selection. Got 4 unusual travel mags. Definitely get their discount card; for a bookophile it’s well worth the annual fee.

Very nice place with many books. Customer service is amazing, chairs to sit in and just relax and read if your not going to buy anything. Starbucks in the store makes great coffee you can sip onetime you read.
