Such an awesome time! We booked a ropes course for celebrating our wedding anniversary. Normally the beaches call our name but this time we wanted something to bond us at the same time of trying something new! The staff was great, gave thorough instructions, and really motivated you throughout the course. Definitely a great deal at $ 50 a person for 2 hours! Now we want to try a bigger zip line course!

This place was wonderful! My kids, oh who am I kidding?! All of us didn’t want it to end. We will be going back.

I’ve been bringing my summer camp kids here for at least 5 years. It is always a highlight of the summer for the kids. There are elements that will challenge anyone from the most timid to the bravest. The staff here have always be enthusiastic and encouraging to the kid no matter what that particular kid’s challenge is. They encourage them to push their limits with out making anyone feel like they are not as cool because the kid before them went higher or did something better. From an administrative standpoint, Jesse is great to work with. Setting up the group outing is hassle free, quick and easy. Expectations are clear and I know the kids will have a great time once they get there. They just put in a new tree top course that gave the kids endless fun to keep them busy while waiting for the next belay feature to use.(These kids are young enough that they need an adult to belay them. there is never a shortage of features.) After gliding on the ziplines and crossing the bridges again and again, the kids went home tired and smiling.

Probably one of the coolest things we’ve done in a while. Imagine an adult-sized playground with tons of things to climb on, rope bridges to walk across, and 100ft tall trees to conquer. That’s the ropes course here. As we didn’t come in a group, we paid $ 52 a person and honestly thought it was totally worth it. Luckily, not that many people signed up for the morning session and so aside from us and another couple that we were friends with, we only had to share the whole thing with a family of four. The guide is great about explaining the basics of belaying, calming fears, and yelling encouragement. Once you get the basic instructions, you’re set free to go climb and all the various things(of which there are plenty). Our favorite was the 100ft tall tree with a gorgeous view at the top and the«leap of faith» where you jump of a 35ft stump to try and catch a trapeze 3 feet away. Overall, whether you’re a climber or a newbie(which describes the two of us) it’s a great time with lots of different level of challenges and certainly leaves you feeling like you’ve conquered the world.

to squaw valley usa… pass main parking lots, village and cable car on left, and continue straight to end parking and rope course to the right…$fourty per person for group of nearly twenty… twenty minutes of signing waivers, equipment orientation, safety, and instructions to climbing, belaying and anchor person… breaking out into teams of three and starting immediately… various courses to try… too many to complete all… starting with the rope bridge… easy climb up a wooden pole and difficulty starting on rope ladder… wobble and twist… each step quite intense… transition from rope ladder to rope bridge quite difficult… unstable and a hard reach… a painful stretch to get up and over inside the half loops of the rope bridge… quite high up, but a relief on being able to rest on unstable loops… each step a reach and pulled… using all muscles in the body… finally across and difficulty in grabbing squeaking wooden ladder… a push and off to be belayed down by partner below… squeeze of harness on private parts quite painful… climbing harness invented by women? various other course tried… climb up the tallest tree and ring the bell… a walk across rope and wooden plank bridge… ending with a thrilling high lift and release swing back and forth… sweaty, dirty and sore… real fun…
