Terrible service. Food tastes like they order all their ingredients from Sysco. The bartender stirred drinks he was mixing by holding on to the top of the straw he expects customers to drink out of.

Best in town. All facets. Staff is really nice. Been going here for years! Recommend the spicy jambalaya or the classic cod or halibut fish & chips and the chicken wings! Cheers!

Turkey Ruben and a loaded salad, along with a super nice waitress and a great view of the twilight of the day. What a sweet spot.

Not really a fan. The food is sub par as is the service. The place just seems off. I’d heard good things, but maybe we ordered items that just aren’t as good. The meat was oversauced and the sauce wasn’t good. The fries were mostly soft. The vegetables were over cooked and had weird cheese hunks almost melted on them. I’d asked before ordering veggies about what they were and there was no mention of cheese.

Holy delicious Burgers! We went to Tugboat Annie’s on a Friday night and it was a lot of fun! Our server was wonderful, drinks were cheap and tasty! I got the Tugboat Burger that has egg and ham and bacon– hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Huge portions of food! I’d recommend asking to have it on a bigger plate cause it was overflowing on the tiny plate they served it on… We will definitely be coming back for more :)

Great place! Best on a clear day with beautiful views of the water! You can walk on the dock down by the boats. Food is great, great portions and the service is pretty great too! Definitely a family favorite

What a fun place. There were a few people playing live Irish music. The service was prompt and courteous. I had Ribs and fries. The plate came with well prepared vegetables. The ribs were done with just enough chew while still easy to separate from bone. I definitely recommend eating here. Worth a repeat performance.

Great little spot right on the water! Food was good but it’s a little loud inside. They also offer a great breakfast with kayak rental too! It was very enjoyable!

One of my favorite places in Oly to take the family. We like to go on Thursday evenings, when there is a magician in the house making the rounds. Makes for a fun time for everyone, from my 5-year-old son to his 65-year-old grandma. The view on the water can’t be beat, and we enjoy all the sea-related décor hanging from the ceiling and walls. The burgers are solid(my personal fave has blue cheese, mushrooms, and bacon) and they have sweet potato tater tots. Nom. Sweet & salty, my favorite. My husband says the mixed drinks are delish. It’s a great option for a place where we are all comfortable — noisy enough that as a family, we don’t feel self conscious if our kid isn’t behaving perfectly — yet not too rowdy for the little one to be there with us. Good times.

It’s my favorite casual restaurant in Olympia. Food is great, ambiance is amazing, water view is spectacular, and the service is always superior.

Ate lunch there today; were seated by the window in the corner. Great view of the harbor, downtown and the beautiful clouds! My husband enjoyed his Clam Strips & Chips and I loved my Cod & Chips. Our server(Chris R.) was friendly and attentive. Thanks Chris!

Someone recommended this place for lunch. My fiancée, friend, and I went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty empty for a Saturday, perhaps because it was raining? Service was good, and the ambiance(for the type of restaurant) was very nice. We shared a chicken quesadilla, which I found very tasty. To drink, I ordered a Moscow Mule and it was good. I also ordered the clam chowder soup and a house salad. The clam chowder soup was really bad, wouldn’t recommend it. My friend had the salmon burger and he thought it was good. I might have to try the burgers next time I go to this place. I certainly wouldn’t order any seafood here. The prices are reasonable, and the menu has a little bit of everything — from sandwiches to jambalayas. I’m giving it a 3 star rating for the awful clam chowder soup!

Much like so many things in life timing is everything at Ann’s. I recommend stopping by sometime after breakfast and before dinner on a week day. Of course this doesn’t guarantee that the server won’t be dressed like a lady of the evening(no problem here), the food will be served correctly and at lightning speed, or if you sit outside some generous smoker won’t share their carcinogenic love via an otherwise innocent breeze. I don’t know how old the building is but I always wonder how it would fare in a really good earthquake. It survived the one in 2001 just fine and I’m guessing the 6.7 in 1949. I always have these thoughts when it comes to structures on pylons. At the very least there is a good deal of memorabilia hanging from the ceiling so ducking under something solid may be in order. I love all the swag but would prefer not to have a decorative boat oar drop fifteen feet and ever so gently break my beak or noggin. Everything is likely bolted and screwed securely to the ceiling but these things still run through my mind like Jack LaLanne on one of his final brisk early morning jogs. The beer on tap is generally good. They have the proverbial IPAs and pale ales ect. Sometimes they have Pyramid hefeweizen which is a decent American style hefe. Like I’ve said before, I am a creature of habit and I love a good reuben sandwich. Ann’s turkey reuben has been my go to for years now. I don’t even miss the pastrami. I have never experienced the culinary sin of soggy bread when dinning at Ann’s. This is fundamentally detrimental to the sandwich. Such horror can be forgiven because I acknowledge that we are all human and as such flawed from the cradle to the casket but I will never forget and thus ever order said meal again from the offending eatery. May the deity of the readers choice please bless the reuben at Ann’s and keep it sog free for well into the unforeseeable future.

This place is one of a kind. Very scenic, off the beaten path, good service, good prices, and usually good food. Sometimes they get a little bit too busy and service and food quality falls off a bit. But, overall we like tugboat Annie’s any day. It is a great place to bring out-of-town guests. They’ll want to return. The menu is varied from simple to fancy, and they have a fantastic bar. Everyone likes this place. The blue cheese Burger and the prime rib dip are two of my favorites. I’ve never had better anywhere.

The food is good and the view is unbeatable! I prefer breakfast here but dinner was good. I tried the ribs and they were ok. Not sure I’d have the same if I were to go back. For breakfast I had the French Toast and it was AWESOME. I will definitely come back for those.

I feel really awful about this review. However, we had some really BAD service. And by BAD, I mean awful. Upon being seated the two adults were brought waters. My daughter was not but we were assured a water would come for her. It did. Thirty minutes later when I asked again for her water. Yes, there were several large parties and I understand how that can back things up for the smaller tables. We did, however, only order a flank steak salad, steamed clams, and a grilled cheese sandwich. The side salad had items on it that were asked to not be there. It took and hour to get our food and another ten minutes to get the«balsamic vinaigrette» which was actually oil and vinegar. Thank you for the large portions… You win there. We ordered the drink special of the night which sounded delicious… But were sadly informed they were out of a key ingredient. Take it off the board! The gingerpolitan was tasty but very questionable as to whether there was any alcohol in it. The server was an indifferent millennial, wearing a torn sleep tank from Target. A little class would go a long way. And a caring attitude even further. I get that it was the Friday night of a holiday weekend… But a place that is as well established as this should be prepared for such. Very disappointed. I am not sure I would bring out of town guests here again. So disappointing.

This place was alright. The server was kind and fast. The crab cakes were yummy. Kinda expensive for the food to money to good taste ratio. Beware of sitting on the deck. Literally four smokers parked their asses directly under where we were eating and shared their habit with us. ‘Twas sucky.

This place was really cute. You can do the breakfast special, which is basically breakfast and kayak for $ 25 per person. You get to kayak for 2 hrs. So I thought that was neat. Our server was alright. He took forever to get us water and rake our orders. We sat outside and wasn’t sure what was going on inside, so maybe he was busy? But from what I can see or experienced his service wasn’t all that great. The food was alright too. I don’t know if I would go back, but I guess it depends if my husband wants to kayak again the next time we visit. Lol

Great service at this place. I went with a friend for the kayak and breakfast special. $ 50 and two can kayak for two hours before breakfast or two hours after. Includes breakfasts(except crab Benedict) and two coffees. With some add ons(like mimosas and a side of back) it was about $ 75 with tip. It’s best to make reservations as they were sold out of kayaking slots til 2pm when when arrived at 9am. The pancakes are huge and fluffy. My omelette was perfect– bay shrimp, cheddar and tomatoes.
