Stone Creek Wood Fired Pizza

So glad I finally found Stone Creek. The cinnamon rolls are dreamy. Wish I could eat one a day. The simple Margherita is fantastic and especially with a «dirty skirt» that gives it full benefit of the wood fired oven. Shady Katie with a dirty skirt is a big favorite with friends but, it’s the garlic on it too powerful for me. So glad they are in Olympia!

We loved the Dandy Randy! Truly outstanding. Three pizzas was plenty for 7 people! Cheese yummy, pepperoni was especially good — big, flavorful pieces! We ordered the kids pizzas blonde crusts, since they don’t do char, and they came out perfectly! People were kind, pizza was ready fast, and the family was thrilled. We will definitely be back!

Closest thing to straw hat pizza out here (moved from Cali). It’s so good! I just get a pep with extra cheese and I never regret it

I don’t eat pizza very often, seems like a waste of time. I don’t know how to explain it very well, but I just stumbled upon this place, a food truck with a pizza oven. Wood fired pizza oven, never in my life have I had pizza this good. I felt the need to review this place everybody needs to try it who live in Olympia if you don’t live near Olympia you need to drive to this place phenomenal. The people that work there are great and I have to say it again the pizza is out of this world !

Can’t say enough about how great this handcrafted pizza is. Best pizza in Olympia. If you know anything about wood fired pizza then you will love this place. After reading the reviews, I went with the margherita with light sauce and light cheese. Perfection. What I don’t understand about the other reviews is complaining about char. That’s part of the soul of a wood-​fired pizza! For me, a pizza has to look beautiful too, and they never disappoint. I can’t say anything about their other pizzas. But really, does anything beat a wood fired margherita?

Went for the first time today. Excellent Pizza. Best cheese in the area. Good price as well.
It can be hard to find for the first time so make sure you know where you are going.
I have tried pretty much every other pizza place in the area, some are close, but I think this is the best pizza. I’m a fan of whole milk cheese being used on the pizza and that does not seem to happen much in this area. This was the closest to the cheese I like (from NY early in life, but later lived in California). I can’t even find good whole milk cheese at safeway etc!
Anyway, great pizza, will totally go again.

Absolutely the best pizzas I have had in years. The location is rustic and quaint, and you don’t have to wait very long for your order but the little shelter is nice. The menu is very delish and I have yet to try everything but what I have tried I enjoyed. They are always happy to see me and were quick to learn my name. Always service with a smile. And the crust, oh crisp yet still soft, perfect, I imagine this is the way pizzas were meant to be made.

You sure can tell when folks cook from the heart. Yes the pizzas are excellent I’ve had meat and vegetablarian and both were winners.

its been sometime since my husband and I came here for pizza over a year. Last we pizza we had here was the Sadeeq LOVED IT!!!
But tonight we ordered that same pizza and as awful. Maybe it was we ordered it at 6pm knowing they closed at 630pm but they had orders b4 us and after us. But this pizza which we had tonight, it has chicken, feta, tomatoes, mozzarella, spinach, mushrooms and onions, and pesto as the sauce, was AWFUL. The tomatoes which are usually throughly cooked all the way, was not, the cheese some parts were melted as it should be but other parts of the pizza were not and most of the pizza crust was burned to a crisp.
So would we go back again, I would least one more time but I’m so disappointed in this joint now.

I was walking up to the pizza stand today, eager to look at their menu and see if they had anything I would like. The owner of the store took one look at me (wearing jeans, and sweatshirt, and black work boots) and, her voice dripping with condescension and self-​righteousness, asked if my friend and I were waiting for a ride, or just loitering in the parking lot. I pointed to my car (which was the only car in the lot), saying that we had just come out of Fun Junk (the adjacent store, which they share a parking lot with), and were looking at one of the tree species next to the store.
She proceeded to tell me, extremely rudely, that the parking lot was hers and the surrounding property was hers, and that my friend and I weren’t allowed to be there. She acted as though my friend and I were vagrant teenagers, about to smoke weed in her parking lot, when in reality we are mid-​twenties students who quickly realized that we didn’t want or need to buy pizza from such an impolite woman.
It was truly disrespectful for her not to treat us as potential customers, for that is indeed why I walked up to her stand in the first place. If she treated all customers like this, she would be out of business in a day. I would highly recommend avoiding this place in favor of somewhere that treats all customers and people with dignity.

Yummy 12″ pizza made in front on of you. It is a food truck and they have a few parking spot and seats available. They also have really good cinnamon rolls. They do take cards.

Best pizza in Oly! The Billy Boss special was bomb! It’s definitely worth the long wait! Very glad we found this amazing place! tried other pizza places in olympia and this is by far the best pizza I’ve had! The people were very friendly too. Will be coming back again soon! Highly recommend this place!

I heard a lot about this place, so I finally decided to see if it lived up to the hype. It does. It SO does. Ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza, dirty skirt (a bit charred in spots) and I have to say, it was spectacular. Fresh mozzarella (you know what fresh moz tastes like) homemade sauce, and a nice load of meat. Owner was great to talk to… I’ll be back!

It’s been nearly 3 years since my initial review and my opinion remains the same EXCEPT for saying this is my favorite over Vic’s Westside. They are on par for different reasons. They are different pizzas: one wood fired the other oven.
Ideally, I’d like Vic’s sauce on a Stone Creek pizza. Stone Creek’s sauce is still a bit light on seasonings vs Vic’s and what I recall from my New York days. Both have the best gluten development in an Olympia pizza (means: elastic crust)
One sidebar about service: This is a food truck operation. I’ve seen customers upset over the wait times for an order. They can do 2 or maybe 3 pies a time. Sometimes, with the call aheads, you get in a line unseen when you walk up. (It isn’t Dominos.) Call ahead if you have a targeted ready time.

Wood fired pizza food truck in Oly? Gourmet combinations utilizing quality ingredients. Very nice people making great to go pizzas at reasonable prices with low wait times. What more could you want?

A great experience! We came here on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and provided a suggestion for us when we asked. The pizza itself was very good. We ordered a Hawaiian and a Marilyn. The dough was thoroughly cooked but not burnt and the cheese was near perfect. We were the only people there at the time and the owner even let us come behind the counter and take our pizza out of the oven. All in all a great place that I highly recommend.

Best pizza in Oly. They know how to make a marhgerita, the crust is near perfect. It’s open air with a covered eating area. Check the website/​call to make sure they are open. The hours are a little limited. I would eat here everyday if it were closer.

The pizza was chewy, thin-​crusty, saucy, crispy wood fired.
It wasnt fast, they were overwhelmed with phone orders and take outs, but we waited it out and it was worth it. the sauce is good and the toppings are fresh.
This pizza is made by a guy who loves to make pizza, he is passionate about his oven, his dough, and his toppings and his customers. this is good pizza.
Warning — its hot when it comes out, but its so hard to wait!
Worth stopping, standing around in the cold, waiting for them to hand make it, rotate it in the oven… rotate it in the oven…
Always out of the cin rolls, probably because they are so good.
