Squalli-Absch Grille

Before the remodel of this restaurant I are here several times a week, I enjoyed good service, and good quality food. Since the remodel was complete, both the quality of the food and the quality of the service have been awful.

While the casino part tends to be too smoky and crowded… always… this restaurant is worth the trip. I have eaten here probably 7 – 8 times now, 5 stars every one. food has always been correct and amazing. Service is excellent, prizes are high avg– high; but definitely in accordance for what you get. I have only paid once, as I always have enough points to use for the rest of the time so it is an amazing deal. The early dinner specials are a really good option, but anything is amazing. It is probably the best French onion soup and tiramisu I’ve ever had. Make reservations, so helpful! Love this place.

Man I love this place. Went in for dinner last night, no wait was seated right away which is fabulous. I already knew what I wanted so my server Stacey took my order right away and she was just on top of all her customers needs without being a hoverer. My food was amazing as per usual and I needed to find some dessert to take home and asked Stacey what would keep well in the fridge she didn’t hesitate and gave me 2 yummy answers and I said done! She even offered to box all my food for me. Great server, great example of customer service in the hospitality industry!

This place serves excellent food at a very fair price with wonderful service. It is fine dining quality at café prices. You can easily dine for under $ 20 each, or get a great steak or seafood multi course meal for under $ 30. We’ve dined here twice and both experiences were exceptional. Despite their room being small, and our dining on weekend evenings, we got right in both times without waiting. I kind of don’t want it to get the popularity it deserves, just so we can get right in when we come! The décor is cozy and inviting with wood accents, native artwork and a large stone fireplace. It is nestled in a corner of the Red Wind casino and completely closed off by glass doors and an entry lobby from the noise and smoke of the casino. My wife has had their fillet trio twice now and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. I’ve had a chicken dish and also the fried oysters. Their garlic and mushroom soup is really delicious as well. Our food has been cooked and served to perfection! We’re not really fans of the casino portion of the Red Wind, but we will be back to enjoy the Squally-​Absch Grill.

FANTASTIC!!! Was told about the «new guy» who is their new chef, and his amazing off the cuff specials. My mind was blown! Can’t wait to find out how his other specials taste and expand my pallet. Will definitely bring clients to experience these wonderful 5 star extravaganzas. Well worth the trip!
