It’s a bar inside a moderately priced hotel, so keep your expectations reasonable. But the service is unusually friendly and the barkeeps are always up to chat if you’d like to, or let you be if you’re coming back from a long Oly day. I always orders beer from Deschutes, because it’s always fresh tasting and delicious. Their wines do get pricey but I haven’t had a bad glass here either.

This is an obvious choice, at least for breakfast if you’re staying at the Double Tree by Hilton. They focus on serving the hotel guests in the morning weekdays 6:30AM-9:30AM, weekends 7AM-​10AM, dinner 4PM-​midnight daily. This place gets very busy in the morning offering a breakfast buffet for USD 10, or order something specific to dine or take away. Once breakfast service has stopped, they won’t open for service till 4PM in the afternoon. A nice niche to fill the void close by would be Sidewalk Café, open only for lunch.
