This place is great! After being a customer of Luxe for Style and dealing with their horrendous customer service and crap policies, I am relieved to have found a place that’s more my style and speed. They always answer the phone and can usually get you in for an appointment within a week. The stylists are all kind and friendly, and even though it’s small and somewhat noisy in there, I’m always pleased with the conversation and quality. They give you a nice scalp massage, accommodate your needs(I needed toner today but only scheduled a cut, and it was no problem), provide drinks, and give great haircuts. Today I had Lori, and she was awesome. It’s a little more expensive than other places in town, but I only use Aveda products at home, so I don’t mind paying a little more for quality products and all-natural hair color, as well as for experienced, Aveda-trained stylists. You can grab a coffee at Batdorf & Bronson next door, get a great haircut, then go across the street to the Farmer’s Market for some fresh produce. There’s always parking, and this is one of the best salons in Olympia as far as I am concerned.

Went there for a 60 minute full body massage. Very friendly, but the massage therapist only massaged me on my back, back of the legs and feet. What about my arms and front of the thighs? Not normal, right? Won’t be going back. Although their Aveda selection is awesome! All and all, not worth $ 80.00 +tip.

Tiffany did my makeup. She was professional but totally friendly! Like catching up with an old college friend or something. My skin is really sensitive and I usually don’t wear any makeup at all. Well Tiffany made me feel comfortable with the makeup on and definitely nailed the look I was going for! The salon is easy to find, across from the farmers market. Free parking around the back of the building. And they are open on Sundays! Thank you Tiffany for the great customer service!

I recently had my haircut by Tiffany and I must say it’s probably the best haircut I’ve ever had. I was kind of reluctant at first because I keep a shorter haircut and usually have a barber cut my hair. She and the salon were quick to put me at ease. She gave me an excellent haircut and it was a great price. I will be going back and would recommend her to anyone who needs a great haircut.

For a mens hair cut this is a ok place to go, its not bad but not great, just ok. you go in, get a mediocre cut and pay a medium price. Doesn’t matter what style or type of mens cut i request because it always turns out the same. When the cut is fresh it often has harsh lines and straight bangs. A few weeks into the cut, it gets lumpy and uneven. i think the skill level of the stylists could be a little higher, but could also be a management issue as well(flat rate). Definitely a step up from super-cuts or a beauty school. Première does give fairly quick appointments and has a comfortable atmosphere. The stylests and employees are very nice ang always have a good attitude.

I really wanted to like this salon, and the girl who did my nails was very nice– but– it took over an hour and less than 4 days later my nails look terrible(see photo). The cuticles were not pushed back enough. My nails grow pretty slow and it looks like I have weeks worth of out-growth. I’m really disappointed. This job was $ 40, and I think a mall manicure may have been higher quality. What a sad waste.

This is my first review on Unilocal.I felt the need to tell people that the haircut I received at Première salon left me in tears. I requested a simple quarter inch trim and received a haircut I cannot even explain. I attached pictures for your review. I lost multiple inches to random whacks at my hair. It will take years to grow back what I lost at the Première. Please don’t go there. My boyfriend who notices nothing asked me «what was up with my hair?» It wasn’t a compliment.

Christopher Archiopoli has been my hair dresser for years. He is truly amazing. Not just because you get a great haircut but you get the privilege of hanging out with him for an hour. You will look and feel better when you leave because he’s a great person too. He really listens to his clients and gives them the cut that they asked for. I highly recommend him!

I came to Christopher with long damaged hair in need of help and ready to take the plunge into the world of short hair. I, like anyone else who has had long hair for a good length of time, was terrified. I came prepared with pictures but didn’t want a replica haircut of anything I had seen before and Christopher delivered. He gave me by far the best haircut I have ever received. There are few people I feel I could completely trust the well being of my hair to(being a hair stylist myself, I’m very picky) but Christopher has proved to be an exception to that rule. Anyone would be lucky to get to spend an hour with such a warm and friendly stylist, leaving with a new found confidence and great hair.

While I am not going to retract my previous review, I will give five stars to the stylist who did the correction, and the manager, who was very accommodating. I am amazed that Christopher managed to make what was left of my hair look not just tolerable, but actually great. He understood right away what needed to be fixed, talked me through his ideas, and overall did an incredible job. The bowl on top of my head is hardly noticeable, it blends really nicely, and the length is now balanced. I will definitely go to him in the future. I did not expect to be so happy with the result, given what he had to work with. P. S. They didn’t charge for the cut.

Came here with high hopes after reading the positive Unilocal reviews and knowing that they carry Aveda products, which I’ve taken a liking to. However, when I got home my wife was horrified to see how poorly my hair was actually cut. The back was very uneven(see picture) and the rest of my hair didn’t get thinned out/layered like you would expect from a regular guy’s haircut. I was pretty disappointed, since I paid 2.5 times more than my normal place to get a cut here. Maybe it was a bad day for the stylist but I won’t be going back.

I went to Première for a pre-(not my) wedding mani/pedi. I’ll preface my remarks by saying that there were five of us and only four stations total(two mani, two pedi). Anyway, my mani and my pedi were performed by two different people, which was a first for me and made an already chaotic situation seem a little more disjointed and weird. My pedicure was mostly awesome. My only complaint is that instead of a warm foot spa thing, they have bowls of warm water with marbles in it(kind of a cool idea) and the water gets cool very fast. The more serious shortcoming was the manicure. I have to say it was probably the worst manicure I’ve ever paid for. And I paid quite a bit. The manicurist was pretty clearly inexperienced and I’m pretty sure is actually a hair stylist recruited for the occasion. She did not entirely remove my old polish, she barely touched my(by then overgrown) cuticles and the polish application came out bumpy and amateurish. Oh, and the polish that she didn’t remove was not covered by the new polish either. She did not properly shape my nails. In her defense, my nails were pretty jacked up by the time I got there, but, on the other hand, that’s what I’m paying for, right? Everyone was very, very nice. Especially the receptionist who could not have been more inviting and accomodating.

I’ve been going to Première Salon and Spa for a year or two and absolutely love this place. I’ve had hair and nail stuff done by Jori and Lindsay. I’ve also had a few waxes and massages done here, but I can’t remember the names of the ladies who provided those services. Luckily, everyone here is really nice and helpful. I will only go to Jori when it comes to coloring. She is absolutely amazing — whether you want something that is natural or more fun. She is very creative when it comes to using color. I like to switch things up and Jori always has an idea that will give me something new to work with, but isn’t over the top or drastically different. She is also great at eyebrows. She knows when I need to get them tinted or if they’re the right color naturally. She never over shapes and works with my natural arch. It’s a comfort to know that I can walk in, tell Jori to do whatever, and won’t regret it! I’ve tried a lot of colors and the Aveda products make my hair feel so healthy, shiny, and soft. My husband loves how I smell when I come home from the salon. It’s the hairspray that he ultimately gets a whiff of and I must say it really works! Whether I get my hair styled straight or curled it always keeps it hold, yet my hair feels like it doesn’t have any products in it at all. I must let it be known that my hair cannot hold curl for more than an hour or so, unless I use this hairspray. Plus, it works no matter what the humidity is outside. So, if you’re looking for a local place where you will come out looking great, can get almost anything done, and really enjoy the people’s company stop into Première!

I love the friendly staff, the scalp massage and the great products, but most of all I love Ranae! She’s amazing. I need to go in for a trim and I’m actually looking forward to it because of her wonderful energy and the fantastic job she does with my hair.

I have been searching for a new stylist for the last year and a half and received many less than mediocre cuts/colors. I saw Rene for a color/cut combo. She did a great job gauging my nervousness about the decision to drastically cut my medium length hair off very short. She is good at listening and hearing what I said between the lines. The picture I brought had bangs, but she suggested a couple wispy fringes instead and she was totally right on the money. The color job was good though I had hoped for a few more blonde highlights. This wasn’t her fault though, and she did a nice job with the foiling. I am looking forward to trying other products they offer like massage and skin care. They are a huge retailer of Aveda and the entire shop smells so good. The price is right as well. I paid 110.00(44.00 for the cut.) This place is conveniently located next to the Olympia Farmer’s Market. Love to get a cut then get a coffee at Bats and walk the market and boardwalk.

This is my regular barbershop(sounds more masculine), and Chelsea does a great job. A haircut comes to about 45 bucks with tip, and I think it’s worth it. When you’re done you can zip next door to Batdorf for a caffeine fix, or go across the street to the Farmers’ Market to check out the wares.

I just had the BEST massage of my life there! I went in tense and stressed and left feeling like a million bucks. I love that they use Aveda products and everything used during the massage smelled and felt absolutely fantastic. Prices are average/inexpensive for the quality of the massage. Cute little location, very friendly, knowledgeable staff. I will be back, soon, for sure!!!

They sell Aveda! I love the lip tint that looks like a chapstick, but has a decent amount of sheer color. I also had a pretty rockin’ massage here once.

Men’s shampoo, cut and style, $ 36. Maybe a little pricey for Oly? I don’t know. I was ten minutes late but they were cool. The receptionist did not even look up when I walked in the door, but she was very nice. Decent cut. The stylist was nice, not overly chatty and seemed to know what she was doing. She started out by giving me a two minute scalp massage with some kind of fragrance-infused stuff.(They don’t even do this at Gene Juarez.) During the cut she checked in to make sure I was happy with the progress.
