I love this place. This is my fourth or fifth float and I always feel so incredibly wonderful when I am done. The shower in the metal room is still freaking amazing too. Just an extra bonus to the relaxing environment.

Was my first time to float, and it was good. Clean, professional, super relaxing. Thanks, Oly Float!

The no gravity experience is amazing! Even at rest in bed gravity still pulls on your muscles, but this experience takes away that pressure and allows you to relax all the way! I tried the metal room first. It was great! The tank is dark. A constellation comes up on the ceiling and later goes away to pitch dark. I will definitely be going back!

Previously, I floated for relaxation. A week ago, however, I got in a car accident and suffered a concussion. My head ached terribly, and felt full and swollen. It was awful. I did 2 sessions at OlyFloat(90 mins each), one followed by sauna, the other by craniosacral therapy by Mandy Zabohne. After the sessions, I could hardly believe how much better I felt. Clear headed, less pain, better circulation. I am a firm believer that floating is excellent for concussions and TBI, and can accelerate the healing process. I was able to return to work after only 3 days. One week post-concussion: I feel great!

Annndddddd… another incredibly awesome float! I wish there were words in my vocabulary to explain the complete experience & the after effects of floating. Now understand that I’ve done this nowhere else except Oly Float so I only have the wonderful TOTAL experience to reference from. You see, the staff & ambiance they’ve created make it ALL work together is incredible! The minute you close the front door behind you, you realize they have created a place in the midst of a chaotic world to step out of & start your journey on the path that takes you to the Gateway to Heaven!(That’s inside the tank!) If you need a space to be quiet & undisturbed –this is IT! Nothing to bind, compress, or hold you back. Simply put… the Ultimate Freedom! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! :)

I just experienced my first float and loved it. It’s hard to explain until you experience it. It’s totally worth a try. I really enjoied myself and would highly recommend it.

My husband and I floated for the first time last week here, and we loved it! The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. For me, the experience of floating was very meditative and relaxing. My husband has had several hip surgeries and suffers from chronic pain issues, and floating was very effective in helping to relax his tense muscles and relieve his pain. We will definitely be back!

I have been 3 times now:) 1st time: got salt water in my eye’s, my neck was killing me and I was not comfortable?, but Pain was gone for about 3 days(Arthritis, migraines and back) I felt great also? 2nd time: Didn’t get salt water in my eye’s this time? Heading into the last 30 minutes of the soak, I started to see white smoke in my vision and it was with eye’s open or closed? made me feel really weird, but good? Body felt as if Pixie dust was sprinkled on my body(I just felt excellent for several days) 3rd Time! Settled in and remained really still and tried meditating, sum what? Around the last 20 minutes I started to see in black space with eye’s open or shut? I saw a white smokey fire/Mist? for several minutes I watched it making perfect turns in a figure eight motion? It was magical and made me smile from ear to ear: D The same pixie dust feeling last’s a couple days and less pain for up to 7 days:) very cool way of chilling out:)

I was nervous about trying isolation therapy; I really thought it was going to be kind of an uncomfortably«zen» sort of place that had the guilty silence of a library with lavender everywhere, but after my first visit to Oly Float, I’m ready to do it again! The facility was clean and well-kept(and mostly scent free); the staff was very polite and knowledgeable, and the man at the desk sat down with me and talked me through the whole process before he showed me where I would be spending the next hour or so. I reserved the Metal Room(each of the four rooms is named after an element) and it was wonderful: heated floors with a steam shower I would like to live inside. Once you shower, you step inside the float tank and find yourself in a warm, shallow(10 inches deep) pool of saltwater. It’s dark but not tremendously intimidating, though if you’re at all neurotic, you may find yourself thinking of all kinds of strange scenarios that might have put you in there. There are, however, small, unobtrusive star lights in the ceiling that you can choose to have on the whole time, if you wish. I did not, but I feel I would have been a little more at ease if they were left on. I read on their FAQ page that you can play music during your session, but I didn’t try that out. It takes a bit to get comfortable, but I’ve not been as relaxed as I was while in the float tank in a long while. A friend of mine said she spent half the time feeling like an alligator waiting for a meal and the other half was spent moving around because it felt so strange floating like that. In sum, it’s a weird feeling, but it’s pretty great however you decide to take it. I encourage anyone who is curious about Oly Float to definitely give it a shot. Their website’s FAQ page has most of the information I needed to prepare myself for the experience, but the staff will happily fill in any blanks for you. I’m looking forward to going again and scheduling an hour massage from one of their two massage therapists on staff after my float. But really, that shower is enough to get me to go back.
