Miss Moffett’s Mystical Cupcakes

Love going to this cupcake shop in downtown Olympia! The service is friendly and very happy to help pick out a cupcake if you’re new to the place. Not heavy or dry, the icing is light enough it balances well with the denser cupcake, and there’s a lot of choices. Their gluten-​free ones are great, too! Love the red velvet and white chocolate raspberry.

I ordered my sons first birthday cake here weeks in advance. I even sat down with the head baker and talked about what we wanted. SHE HAD A PICTURE!!!
We asked for a Mickey Mouse cake since it’s my sons favorite character with Mickey ears.
I was so excited to pick up the cake on March 12^th. But when I got there the lady showed me the cake… IT WAS MISSING THE TOP! It was just the bottom of the cake. I didn’t get Mickey ears!
The lady showed me a picture of the cake we wanted and asked if this is what I wanted. I said yeah but where is the top?!
I was so mad that I just left with the cake.
I called the store multiple times and talked to two people that didn’t know what the hell they were doing.
I finally talked to the girl that made it and she told me that she tried calling me to see if I wanted the Mickey Ears. But I never got a call. I told her that I was extremely upset and I didn’t know what to do with the top!
I asked to speak to the owner because I was getting no where with her. All she said was sorry!
The cake was also falling apart and tasted really gross. Almost like flower!
Well the owner called me within 10 minutes. I really liked that. She even called from home on her day off. She was extremely understanding and gave me a full refund of $ 130. Although That took a week to go back into my account. I had to call 3 times in order to get the money back.
But I’m happy with the great customer service from the owner Rachael.
I’m a big fan of their cupcakes but I won’t be getting a cake there again!
Also the girls that work in the store need to learn customer service and how to talk on the phone with a customer.
But my sons party was great and we managed to help find a topper for the cake thanks to Walmart.

Delicious recipes; impeccable customer service. I recently ordered two dozen mini-​cupcakes from Miss Moffett’s Mystical Cupcakes for my mother’s birthday celebration. The staff suggested delicious flavors for the cupcake assortment and had them fresh-​baked and ready for on-​time pick-​up on the day of the birthday party. Very impressive. I recommend Miss Moffett’s for all of our family and office celebrations.

Such poor business practices with a condescending response to a customer. The pictures of the cupcakes are all you need to know…

I wasn’t even a customer but a friend ordered from here… Just looking at these cupcakes you can tell that they were done poorly. Word-​of-​mouth changes businesses daily. Think they should take fault in this poorly done order and refund the customer!

This was my first bakery stop on my outing to Olympia last weekend! Woo Hoo! I was not disappointed in the slightest!
I was walking all over the place to hit a whole slew of places that I bookmarked recently and Miss Moffetts was a bakery that was going to fit into my schedule quite nicely!
Here I got a Key Lime cupcake in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day of course and of course my staple flavor, chocolate as my second cupcake.
Both cupcakes were delicious, moist and fresh! I would definitely go back as it is an easy stop both from the main transit station there and from downtown!

I ordered 96 cupcakes for my sister’s baby shower and while it was not inexpensive, they tasted incredible. I was a little disappointed in the décor for the price we paid but the overall taste and appearance was not bad. I will definitely try them again for our next event and maybe be a little more specific about the type of décor I expect. Overall very pleased.

Happend upon this place because the cupcake place i loved use to be here. First time i came into the new one. Wasnt happy with the cupcakes. But today they tasted like they were baked with love. Customer service is great. I also think its very smart they also sell flowers. I am glad I came back. Will def keep making the drive to get cupcakes

Someone I know had some of these cupcakes and gave two of them to me to try… Honestly there is absolutely nothing special about these expensive tiny little cupcakes Lol! The cake itself is just regular cake batter not flavorful at ALL in anyway. The icing isn’t all that good either. I don’t see what the rave is all about. I have had way better more flavorful and BIGGER cupcakes worth the money. I would never buy the cupcakes but to get one given to me sure. You’re paying for presentation not the deliciousness of the cupcake. If I’m paying that much for a cupcake I want it to look good AND taste good. If you want a real flavorful cupcake worth your money try a Sprinkles Cupcake!

We just visited the Lacey store and while the cupcakes are tasty the price of $ 3.25 for a cupcake on the small side is way too much. A mini cupcake (one bite) will set you back $ 1.25. Too expensive!

I’ll admit, the red velvet cupcake was super delicious, but over $ 3 for a single cupcake is a little ridiculous, considering I could bake a cake and ice it for the price of 2. Let me actually correct myself, one of the cupcakes was delicious and the second one was dry and tasted like a completely different cupcake, even though they were the same… Tried going here a few times and it said it was closed even though online it’s advertised as open, could have run out, but happened a few times too many for me to finally just go to Abby’s.

Love this place, they had an AMAZING vegan cupcake (though call ahead, they don’t have them all days of the week) which was by far the best I have ever had. Incredibly friendly and gave my friend a free tiny one!

Small assortment. We should have bought cupcakes from Walmart, they would have tasted the same and way cheaper!!! Only giving 1 star because they did have great customer service. But won’t go back.

The girl working was very helpful in helping me pick out cupcakes, she genuinely seemed to enjoy her job and was very friendly.
I took home a four pack, although the vanilla cake was a bit dense in my opinion, the frosting was absolutely delicious. The chocolate cake was much lighter and the texture I would expect from a cupcake!
I will be coming back, but probably only for the chocolate flavors.

Not impressed. Got them from the spot in the capital mall. No refrigerators, not covered. Sitting out open air on platters. I love the flavor options.. And the fact you can get gf but the taste was not great. Not to mention I had two cupcakes last night and woke up with the worst tummy issues you can think of.

So we went there on mother’s day and there were a few cupcakes left due to the high demand especially on mother’s day. We got the strawberry short cake, gluten free chocolate w/​Carmel & the fairies cake. All were delicious (as i tasted myfamily’s cupcake also)… I thought the price was a little steep once they rung it up, but in the end after finishing my cupcake i was satisfied and believe it was worth every penny.

Super cute little spot, and super tasty cupcakes! Took my 2 yr old, she loved it! The Tres Leches cupcake was like a party in my mouth! My daughter had the Vanilla diva because of the pink frosting and sprinkles. Mine was better. We will be back! Not 5 stars because they only had 1 left of the cupcake I bought, I wouldve bought more for the fam. I know it was almost closing time. Oh and the lady there was super sweet! A+ for this cupcake spot in Olympia!

What a fun cupcakery! We went here for Valentine’s Day and it was great! There was a fun event where we got to decorate our own cupcakes and it was a really fun family event! The frosting and toppings were delicious and it really created some fun memories for us! I can’t wait for the next event! The price was right and the staff were fabulous!

I was hoping that with four stars on Unilocal this place would be good. I went in for my first time and wasn’t really greeted by the gentleman working. He wasn’t helpful or really into trying to sell me a cupcake, he just responded with «it’s good» but I just thought maybe that was his lac style and ignored it. I bought 6 for a birthday and the one I had wasn’t really that good and didn’t taste fresh.
Overall, I won’t be going back or giving them my money. It’s a cute place but if you want customers to enjoy their experience, be kind and engage them!

I was sad to see Sweet Charlie Bs go, but I’m glad to say this is a great replacement. I blueberry cheesecake cupcake and the kids had a Birthday Chocolate. The blueberry had a great crust on the bottom and some blueberry compote in the center! Was wonderful. I swiped a small bite of the kids. The cake had a great flavor and the frosting had these luminescent sparkles. It was devoured before I got a second chance to try it again!
