The other posters must work there to give such rave reviews. I ordered a coffee before a meeting and watched as two people who were in line behind me get served before I did. I understand taking care of your regulars but try to be less blatant about it.

Great little hidden gem in the DES building. Not many traditional deli places in Olympia and this one does a lot of things well. Sandwiches hot and cold? Check. How about on a croissant roll? Check. Feel like a wrap? Check. Soup of the day? Check. In a hurry and want to grab a pre-made salad? Check. I really love the wraps and think they’re something that sets Megabites apart. Hard to pick a favorite though(fish wrap, chicken ranch, and southwest all in my rotation). I’m not typically a soup person, but the Thai coconut curry, chicken and dumpling, and chili are worth me coming in for all by themselves. They also have daily specials(taco salad Tuesday anyone?), burgers and flatbread pizza available as well, plus a nice little coffee shop serving Batdorf and Bronson coffee and breakfast items and sweets. I’ve brought in many friends and they all come away impressed. It’s simple, deli style food done well. Staff is friendly and the owner is frequently there and working. As for the reviewer mentioning food on the floor, yeah, that’s a casualty of making a bunch of fresh food in a hurry, but I’ve always seen it very clean. Now if there were bits of lettuce on the floor BEFORE the lunch rush, then maybe I would feel concerned. Either way, most all the food is made right there in front of you, so don’t worry that they don’t stop making food to pick up an errant piece of lettuce now and then. Long story short, if you’re looking for a great sandwich, delicious wrap, or some tasty soup, swing on by. Don’t work in the DES building or within walking distance? There’s free parking for up to an hour right along the street.

Best REUBEN I’ve had in a long long while. As far as Deli’s go, this one is awesome… great food, made the way you want it(yes they actually listen to your orders), the owner is there often and she’s fantastic — she truly cares about the place, the food quality and its customers! The bottom line: Good food, Clean establishment, Great Service, Good value

This business is in the café located in the Department of Enterprise building. They sell espresso, sandwiches, breakfast items, candy, and other various food and beverage items. I love that they offer almond milk for those that need it and they use a local coffee company’s beans. They down side, cash is required for purchases under $ 2, with no posting so you find out after you place your order and pull out the card… More importantly, the floor behind the sandwich bar is covered in napkins and food — makes you wonder how clean the places are that you can’t see. I thought maybe I caught them on a bad day but when I came back the second day it was more of the same even with three staff behind the counter. Second is that I noticed a barista pulling her shots directly into the grande cup verses using her shot glasses that were right there. This is actually the first time I have seen a barista do this, and I live in the land of coffee! Alternatively the BBQ place adjoining this was busy wiping down all their equipment and cleaning surfaces. I think they will be my choice from now on when lunching in this building.

Good variety deli in a state building. Soups, sandwiches, salads, sodas, espresso drinks and other snack items. I was glad the deli was there because there isn’t anything else close by when I was attending a training class in the building. They were staffed well to make my food and espresso drink quickly so I could get back to class. Plenty of seating inside and outside for those sunny days.
