Pleasantly surprised how great this spot is. I generally don’t go to chain restaurants because I love local mom and pop’s. However, nowhere near my work has good phó. I saw a sign that said they served phó so my coworker and I figured we’d give it a shot. Very solid vibe inside. Quiet and cozy. Friendly and helpful staff. Most importantly, the phó was phenomenal! I got the seafood phó and found fresh clams and muscles in the shell. Amazing broth as well. I’m fairly picky when it comes to phó and stick to the places that I know. That being said, I will definitely be going back to this Happy Teriyaki.

The new phở they serve is yummy:) I got steak, takeout. They do put the steak in the broth on takeout(or at least they did with my extra noodles I ordered) so unlike a couple other places it’s not raw when you get it. So if that’s a turn off(which it is for me, but I love 3 floors up so the convenience overpowers that) then there’s that. Some of the phở around here tastes crazy, this one I thought was normal and delicious. Recommend :)

First time here, horrible service I am one to not give bad reviews but this restaurant really needed to let people know. Out of our three entrées two came wrong and over 50 minute for a quick service Chinese restaurant. Sorry I had to do this

Updated review. I decided to try this again since I was borderline starving and could eat almost anything. I ordered the same meal– chicken teriyaki with gyoza which is apart of their lunch special. I specifically said no vegetables because I hate the smell of broccoli. She said okay. Then I asked for extra teriyaki sauce because last time the sauce was only on the top layer of chicken. When I opened my box, there were steamed vegetables and the extra teriyaki sauce I asked for, ended up being 2 things of soy sauce. Either your staff isn’t paying attention or I’m saying these things out loud incorrectly. The brown rice was decently cooked this time. The chicken is hard and dry; definitely over cooked. Once again, HOWCANYOUGOWRONGWITHCHICKEN? Ugh! Bye, bye $ 9 worth of food. Why do I even tip anymore? Previous review: I really don’t think I’ve ever had bad teriyaki but this place really was far from great. I ordered the lunch size chicken teriyaki and gyoza. I knew I didn’t want the salad so I asked for extra brown rice. The chicken was dry and was only covered in sauce with the top layer. It looked as if it’s been sitting there for hours. The brown rice was soggy. I absolutely hate when restaurants serve soggy brown rice. If you don’t know how to make it properly, then don’t offer it. The only good thing were the gyoza. They were crisp and hot. Store bought and frozen, of course, but delicious all the way through! The girls that work there were extremely sweet though. They look like they have some regulars too… I’m afraid I just won’t be one of them.

Average for a happy teriyaki, gotta admit they have good lunch specials. Bubble tea however is supposedly apart of the bubble island chain and they only make the blended smoothie type instead of milk tea.
