I’ve been a member of Generations Credit Union since 1971. Always a satisfied customer. In full disclosure I’ve been a volunteer all that time. Having said that, staff have always been quick to explain how things work. Five generations of my family are members of GCU. Obviously, it works for us.

Whatever you do don’t bank with generations. I’ve never had a financial institution make me as angry as this one is right this second. The first thing was I ordered a debit card when I opened my account and it took nearly 4 weeks to get to my house. Also they have a separate website to use bill pay. Its not part of their company and you have to wait for hours on the pop hone to get someone at that site to answer their calls while no one at generations has the slightest idea of what they’re doing when it comes to paying bills online. The money I put into my account is unusable and I have called 4 it 5 times to get my account set up and it still doesn’t work. I have a credit card that I need to make a payment on and bills to pay but I’m unable to do that because of this God damn bank. I’m closing my account asap
