The remodel looks great! but the menu was disappointing. We used to come here all of the time, you could say we were regulars. Bring back the old menu! So many more options!

The new menu is Meh. The best item on their menu before the remodel was the pizza and they did away with the pizza oven. We had a 4 person dinner and none of us were impressed. The new bar is pretty. Go in for drinks and golf but skip the food.

The best onion rings if ever had. Great service and I like the environment. I love the seating over looking the golf coarse.

The remodel looks great but that’s ever where it ends. The old food used to be the only reason to go, now it’s what will keep me from going. No good comfort food, looks as if they are trying to be something they are not. Please bring back the old menu!

It’s taken me a while to write this review as I wanted to give management a chance to respond and I just haven’t had chance. On September 20th my partner and I arrived at the FireCreek between 12:00 and 12:30 to watch a little football and have a small bite and couple of drinks. We sat at the table by the window just outside the bar area. As soon as we sat down the bartender«J» immediately stared us down and would not come to our table. We watched«J» walk over to Jennifer and tell her to wait on us. So Jennifer came over and took our drink order. We ordered a Screwdriver and a Mac n Jack(or an IPA I’m not sure). Jennifer went to tell«J» and«J» just walked away. Jennifer made our drinks(Jennifer made our drinks the whole time we were there). «J» proceeded to give me very dirty looks — although she’s not very good at it. We thought — maybe we were just perceiving something wrong but when I walked up to the bar, money in hand to order a couple of shots and buy some pull tabs — «J» slapped her hand down on the bar, looked me in the eye and said«just so you know — pull tabs are down!» I said to her«do you know me or something?» and she said in a very snarky way«yea — you look familiar to me too.»(Hmmmm — pull tabs are down in the middle of the day on a Sunday with one or two people sitting at the bar and a couple more sitting at the tables? You might lose money that way.) I just walked away at that point and didn’t order anything else from her and she didn’t ask if I wanted anything else — I felt she might jump over the bar and claw my eyes out. I had no idea who the bartender«J» was but we were very perplexed as to why this girl had such a problem with us — she wouldn’t even make our drinks for us. I had NO clue what we had done to make her treat us with such disdain. She was excessively rude to me personally — even the waitress noticed!!! If we hadn’t had already ordered food from Jennifer(who by the was wonderful and kept us there) we would have left — we felt so uncomfortable. I honestly can’t think of a time where I’ve been treated so poorly by someone in the customer service industry. She absolutely refused service to us for no apparent reason and we were in fact made to feel extremely awkward in that establishment. The following Tuesday I reported the bartender to the manager Dan Moore in an email as an employee with an remarkably substandard work ethic. I let him know that her immature behavior and clear disregard for customers is something he should consider. He did call and leave a message on my work voice mail offering me a free meal. I wrote him back letting him know that I in no way was after a free meal from him. I simply wanted an explanation as to why we were treated so poorly and I wanted an apology from the bartender. I never heard one word back from anyone — at this point I have no choice but to assume that the bartender obviously has an issue with same sex couples and clearly discriminates against them.

This is a tough one. We’re regulars here and I so want to LOVE them. We’re members of the course; it’s a great, low-key, dry course and we love to stop by for a little food & beverage after a round. I just can’t find anything other than the comfortable deck and staff(props to Nichole!) to love. Nothing is awful, it’s just all really forgettable. Burgers are ok, house salad is pretty bad(just iceburg lettuce with some croutons and parmesan dumped on), the reuben is mediocre, fish tacos are alright, pizza is. .. huh, strange — I don’t remember. I know we’ve ordered it, though.

My family and I were looking for a steak house and Fire Creek definitely is not a steak house. The food was decent. My husband and I had clams and panko fried shrimps as an appetizer. The clams soaked well into its sauce and the fried shrimps must have been good because my kids ate just about all of them. I had the clam linguine, it was good but the sauce tasted exactly like the clam sauce we had as an appetizer and the garlic bread was over toasted. My husband had the sirloin steak, he ordered medium rare but came out looking well done. His side of vegetables looked over steamed, they had no crunch at all but we’re nicely seasoned. Both our meals came with a salad, with the option of garden or cesar. My kids ordered off of the happy hour menu: Garlic fries, boneless hot wings, and pulled pork tacos, $ 5 ea. From what they said and how they looked while eating… The fries looked delicious, not too much garlic and topped with parmesean cheese, but they were hardly touched. The boneless hot wings were chicken strips tossed in Buffalo sauce(we all prefer baked in the sauce and not too saucy) it was the sour kind of Buffalo sauce that hurts your nose when you smell it, but bareable for my 11 and 8 year old. The tacos must have been good because my son ate them all without and a sound and didn’t ask anyone if they wanted a taste. There were two ladies when we went in, they both waited tables, worked at the bar and cashiered. The place isn’t big at all so it worked out just fine. They were both super nice, our drinks were refilled as needed and they checked on how we were doing just enough times. As soon as we sat down they took our drink orders, without writing them down. When our drinks came out she took our order, again without writing them down. She got them all right and to the right person. When we asked for the tab, they brought it right out. Overall it’s a nice place for a quick bite. I’d probably go there again if we are looking for a quick and easy dinner.

I remember this bar being one of the«hot spots» about ten years ago. Place was shoulder to shoulder for Wednesday dollar well drinks. Have been coming for several years for their half off pizza Mondays but they recently remodeled and got rid of the oven for space. Was the only reason we came so sad to say they lost our business to faralli’s…bring back the pizza firecreek!

Husband and I favorite go to place. All you can eat crab Thursday’s are amazing. Steak is to die for also the mud pie. My kiddos love the pizza. Great place to watch sports and have a drink or 2. I do miss the old red headed waitress, but everyone else is just as friendly. Def a must if you live in the area.

My sisters and I came here for lunch on a Monday afternoon. It’s not much to look at when you get inside, kind of dark and dreary even at our window seat. The food is great though! I had the club sandwich and a side salad. The sandwich was spectacular to look at and tasted amazing too! The salad dressing was excellent and they serve it on the side, I love that! Our server was wonderful, very friendly and professional. She took good care of us! I will definitely go back! The happy hour menu looks awesome, I have to give it a try!

Went there after a game of golf, and ordered the happy hour nachos. There were a little bigger than my fist with nacho cheese so we sent them back and ordered regular nachos, real cheese. They came back were OK, but they charged us $ 13 for them. I’ve been there before, it wasn’t that crazy. My guess is they are hurting so it’s coming back to the customers. Too bad, I play that course a lot, but will be going to Farrelli’s now for a snack afterwards.

Server was great and worked her tail off… but it was horribly under staffed. There for 2 hours and had two drinks and dinner… only two people working! Really good food but probably won’t go back.

Food good, servers nice. Horribly understaffed. If more than 3 tables filled, go eat somewhere else. Almost 2 hours for a pizza and a beer. Not employees fault. Management is not staffing. Probably will skip next time. Be fair to your employees. Setting them up to fail. If ya got all night. You are at the right place.

~no service ~no water ~no nothing. Wont be going back again, seemed to be 5 – 6 empty tables open in the smallish bar, not once did anyone even ask us a thing, not even a smile. Waited ten minutes whilst the server talked with the bartender, left. Wont go back again.

Good place to go on a sunny day, sit on the deck and watch the gophers. Food is surprisingly good. Happy hour menu deals are great, good beer selection and happy hour prices on drinks too. Pizza is really really good too. What, four different sauces to choose from? It’s better than most dedicated pizza joints in town. They have dinner specials too, had a good steak on steak night.

Amazing! Started with wine & cheesy fries. Happy Hour menu was outstanding! Pizza, burgers, & prime rib no way to go wrong. The bar drinks were very yummy! Pineapple mojito, lemon drop, or just a a cool beer(10 different drafts to choose from). Also the out door patio with fire pit was really nice. Over looking the golf course, people laughing, & good food. The customer service was kind, on top of things, never had an empty glass :-) My girlfriends & I will be here again. The food, drinks, & service was great!

This is a decent bar. The atmosphere is good with a good area for a stage or karaōke. The drink selection is decent, but could be better. The food is ok, but we mostly go here to have a few brews and listen to live music or sing karaōke so we don’t usually order the food. This place is right on the capitol city golf course, so there’s nice scenery during the day. Great place to have a brew after taking my usual hundred or so mulligans on the golf course :) When there is karaōke here it has always been good. Check with the bar to be sure they have it before traveling though.

Sometimes its a little slow but the bartender is awesome and sure knows how to make a good drink. Also the food is REALLY good too. Most of the bar tenders will make up drinks if you ask for something like that.

–Service is Terrible –No Drink Specials –No Specialty Drinks –No Beer/Wine/Drink Menu +Nice deck with golf course view +Pretty decent looking menu Wow. My boyfriend and I decided to check this place out after we got a promotional ad in the mail. When we walked in, we were not greeted. So, we found the bar and seated ourselves. The waitress in the bar ignored us for about 5 min. When she finally came, she didn’t have menus, drink menus, nothing. I asked for a drink menu and she grabbed a food menu and started to walk off as I was asking about drink specials. I could tell that my question was a huge burden on the girl but she was kind enough to stop for a second to tell me there were none. The food on the menu looked good enough, but I couldn’t get any table service to order it, so we decided to leave and head down to our usual– Farrelli’s– right across the street, where we always get awesome service even when it’s super busy. I don’t think I’ll give this place a second chance.
