Filling Station Espresso

I see all the responses about the service, and it can take longer than usual sometimes but the drinks are the best. I can’t even go to other places anymore because they just are not near as good. So other than ruining other coffee shops for me, I have nothing but good things to say!

I have been to this place about 5 to 6 times and I am not going to bother going back.
The coffee is okay. It is the customer service that is severely lacking and it takes forever to get your drink. To top it off the location can be hard to get in and out of in traffic. Just skip it.

Like others have said, the service is questionable as it can seem like an inconvenience you’re there. I don’t care whether baristas are bubble or mellow, but sometimes when I go some of the baristas just sort of look at me and wait for me to order… not even a hello. So it can feel awkward. Also, you will wait at least 5 minutes even if you’re the only car there. Not sure why it takes that long but it’s not like a starbucks system so we have to keep that in mind. It’s a teeny-​tiny place.
However, the coffee is always delicious which keeps me coming back. I was so sad to hear about the owner of this establishment passing. She was a sweet lady.
I’ll keep coming back for the great coffee (just make sure you set aside more time than usual to grab-​n-​go!)

I went here for the first and last time today.
I’ve always wanted to try this place. Regrettable.
The quality of the drink was great! But, the service was very horrible… We waited soooooo long to get our drinks, without even being acknowledged after we ordered. Apparently, there was a crisis going on at the other window. Our barista seemed to be flailing about, but not actually doing anything. It was weird.

Waited and waited and waited. There was only one car in one lane and one car in front of me and two people working. After sitting there awhile I noticed that all they were doing is talking to the people which is fantastic unless you are the unlucky customer in line that is not being helped. So after sitting there and being ignored I decided I should just go.

Feels like home! Love the coffee, service and owner!

Saturday ⁷⁄₁₉. My wife raves about this place. Not me any more. I tried the Filling Station twice (mountain bike in the pickup) and became a believer until ⁷⁄₁₉ and then experienced. .. «chatty Kathy.» (No not you the owner, but the skinny overly verbose young women with glasses who spent over 10 minutes chatting and laughing it up with her female and male friends (first named basis) in the «Walk Up Line.») I had been standing in line for a few minutes and never got any recognition until you, the owner said to the equally gabby customer (who was totally surprised there WAS ACTUALLY SOMEONE BEHIND HER, waiting). .. «oh, he’s only been their patiently waiting for a ‘minute’. I waited another 7 – 10 minutes while «chatty Kathy» went into a death spiral asking her friends about how it tasted, yammered about this and that and then the ultimate. .. looked to serve a car that had just driven up. Really? Count me out and count on me to pass my personal experience on to others because your staff person’s etiquette and service is just plain offensively rude. –1 star if I could.
Customer service caters to cars or walk ups if you’re a personal friend of «chatty.» Get better service and go elsewhere and avoid being tanked and totally disrespected.

This is where my wife (OK, and I) go for sugary fufu drinks. They are really good and get you pumped with all the sugar and caffeine. Employees are nice and always know how to pull good shots and make well balanced drinks. the Blended drinks are my favorite. This does come at a bit of a premium though, it’s one of the more expensive places to go.

When my own coffee shop is closed and I am not working, this is the place I usually go to get my caffeine fix! The ladies always remember my drink and it’s always delicious!

One of my favorite espresso stops. It’s an old filling station! To top it off (pun intended here), they make a great latte (me) and italian sodas (my kids). I love the trivia challenge for a small discount… it all goes to the tip anyway… I just like challenging my brain before I sip some brew.

I do enjoy this place.
Rarely no one in line, rarely too many people in line.
Friendly baristas. Good daily trivia question. Excellent coffee.
The building looks slightly dumpy when you pass by and it would be easy to think there isn’t actually a business there. Stop by and be pleasantly surprised though.
