I had an awesome experience with, Victoria! She did such a beautiful job on my Pronovias wedding dress and it amazed me how fast the turn around was! She does great quality work and fixed my dress in areas it needed most due to it being a used dress. It looks like a new dress just by the alterations she did but it looks so great! She’s very sweet and made me feel very welcome. She was so accommodating to what I wanted done to my dress and did just what I imagined to what I wanted it to look like but better! She knows what she’s doing and does a great job! I am going to tell everyone I know who needs anything done for their clothing because she is definitely the one to go to!

I recently used Bella Jean for my wedding dress alterations and they did a great job! I have a very unique and likely difficult dress and had a couple of fittings. Each time Victoria made sure I would be happy with the end result. She even did a couple of last minute changes by hand while I waited. I would recommend to anyone!

I stopped by this place last June to inquire about making a custom wedding dress, since I’m on a budget and was looking to save some money and had read good reviews about this place. The website said custom wedding dresses start at $ 500. When I came in with a photo the gal said $ 2,000. I pointed out the price estimate on the website and she said it hadn’t been updated in a couple years. I felt like it was a bait and switch scam. I asked her if there was a way to make it at a lower cost. Maybe if I bought materials. She then proceeded to say she would go to a fabric warehouse in PORTLAND to shop around for fabric but said it would cost a minimum of $ 5/​yard. She said she would do some research and order a few fabric swatches. She took my phone number but she NEVER called me back. I ended up going to an actual bridal boutique out of town and got a NEW dress for less than half of what Bella Jean Boutique quoted me.

It all started with a google search for ‘custom wedding dress Seattle’ that lead me to a blog post on Style Me Pretty featuring a gorgeous wedding dress created by Bella Jean Boutique. This was the start of such a positive and memorable experience for me that I cannot possibly recommend Bella Jean Boutique enough.
Victoria and Veronica are not only superbly skillful seamstresses, but also have an absolutely amazing ability to help you envision your dress design and then make it come to life. With their expertise, my wedding dress developed into something more beautiful than I could imagine.
Victoria and Veronica are very invested in their clients and this shines through in the quality of their work. They went beyond expectations by meeting me in Portland to help pick out my fabric. They provided me with genuine and honest opinions and advice and changes to my dress were always easy to make. With Victoria’s great sense of style, I was able to decide on a veil, makeup and hair that fit perfectly with my dress and overall wedding theme.

I found Bella Jean Boutique on Unilocal when I needed an alteration to a dress for formal pictures. Victoria and Veronica were a pleasure to do buiness with and the dress turned out fabulously. They were efficient and the quality of their work is very good. I highly recommend their services at Bella Jean and I will certainly return for future business.

A friend referred me to this shop, since I needed a timely alteration job done, this on almost no time to notify them. I called them, asked if I could drop my job with them «NOW» and surely they said, yes you can. Turnaround time is promised to be short, and so it was.
Very friendly folks there, sure I’m a man, so a gown ain’t my dress to be interested in. Yet having seen them at work, makes me believe they are very professional and I can trust them, with a job way more complicated than patches on a biker vest.
I think they aren’t too pricy, as this work is time consuming and has to look right at the first attempt. So I don’t mind $ 8 per patch.
Update, picked my cuts up at the promised time, everything was ready for me. Cool, I paid Debit with this iPhone swipe thingy and got my receipt as email, super cool.
They’ve got a new permanent customer, as they are not only doing petite cloth, but heavy duty stuff, like hamming a pair of leather chaps.
Perfect shop, just around the corner!

Made to order bridesmaids dresses at the same price as the big box stores? Yes please!
I used these ladies’ services almost 2 years ago for my vow renewal, which was taking place in Michigan. Even with girls sending their measurements in from across country, the instructions were precise enough that everyone (except one girl who I think just measured wrong, she has a really long torso) got a dress that fit just as well as the only local girl’s.
They also fixed my wedding dress, and then un-​fixed it when I outgrew it before the renewal (oops).
Their studio/​shop is very small, but stuffed with goodies. Last time I was there they had a lot of toddler clothes (which you can also get made to order), and some wares from various local etsy sellers.
I wish these girls much luck in their endeavors, and will definitely be a customer for life!

I have hired these ladies for three projects now including one very difficult customized update of unique cabin upholstery in my yacht and can’t say enough good things about their performance. Not only do they perform first rate work and deliver a five star final project but they are a joy to work with. Their character and desire for excellence shows through in all that they do. I am definitely a raving fan.
