I purchased some hiking boots for my son. He wore them once for a short walk down our road and got terrible blisters on the back of his heels. I checked the inside of the boots and they had a seam that stuck out in the back. I brought them back to the store in the box with the receipt. The boots were in new condition, but I was not allowed to return them or even receive store credit. I was told that they had to be returned to the Keen company and that after several weeks I would get a warranty check for another Keen product. This is a ridiculous return policy. Why would I want another Keen product when these boots were poorly constructed. I am a big believer in supporting local businesses, but I do not plan to ever shop at The Alpine Experience again.

These guys are great! I walked in(with my broken bike) and they fixed it same day. Honest, professional, fair price. Note: another shop in town encouraged me NOT to fix the bike and instead buy a new one. Alpine did it for $ 30. Awesome!
