How have I been living in this neighborhood for 20 years and not visited this place? Firstly, the place is super quaint and kitschy in a great way. The servers were super attentive. It’s nice to come to a place where the atmosphere is chatty and fun and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty. The dessert LA Torta Miloja was delicious. Will definitely be visiting again.

Food was lovely! Just go in and enjoy, the place is really cute and the seafood and Chilean specialties are great. It gets pretty busy and although the servers are nice, prepare yourself for a wait.

The empanadas were so-so, I went with my girlfriend we both had shrimp and cheese empanadas. Hers were good, however, mine had a horrible bitter taste. I tried drenching it in the salsa they gave us, and I could still taste the horrible bitterness. Service was okay, the waiter seemed nice. However she never paid me any attention because I didn’t speak Spanish so she only spoke to my girlfriend. I guess she couldn’t speak English or look at me and smile. She never brought us our check until we went up front to pay for it. The sandwiches were okay, nothing special.

I brought my Abuela here for a lunch date. Surprisingly, she hadn’t been here, so it was a first time for us both! Parking is easy to find, but I ended up missing the entrance so I just parked in the lot next to it. Keep a look out for the entrance, as it is easy to miss(or at least for me it was). As soon as we walked in we were greeted. We chose our own table and the hostess brought over our menus. After spending about five minutes explaining to Abuela what Unilocal is(and how I found this place), we picked up our menus and perused through our options. As we decided, our waitress came over to bring some pico de gallo(salsa/whatever it’s called), fresh bread, and our drinks. The bread was warmed in the oven, so it was nice and soft on the inside and a little crunchy on the outside. The salsa was so good! Usually it’s flavorless(in other places) but here it had a nice spice and was just packed with flavor. Abuela decided on the chuleta a lo pobre, which came with one side(she chose mashed potato). I chose the pollo a lo pobre, which came topped with onions and a side of fries and two fried eggs. Both were great! The chuleta was a hit with my grandma and I enjoyed my chicken. The mashed potatoes were alright. Our waitress was very attentive and came back several times to make sure we were okay. While there were a couple of other guests, it was never loud and the place is decorated very well. The bathroom was also clean. Next time, I definitely want to try the Pastel de Choclo and their Torta De Milhojas. PS. Tip is already included in the bill, so be careful not to overtip!

Homestyle intimate restaurant. Perfect for breakfast. We had bread with avocado, empanada de carne and bread with scrambles eggs(can’t remember the name). Service is great. I also saw they had a good selection of chilean wines you can purchase and take home and of course I took one home. Overall quality place.

This place was such a pleasant surprise! Lived in the neighborhood all my life and never ventured in. Now that I have, this is probably my new favorite«go to» place. Chilean food is what they do, and they do it right! The place is small and cozy. Service is not rushed, which for me, is a good thing. Their wine selection is one of the best I have seen. So many varieties, its hard to choose. The waitresses are so helpful and kind enough to bring you sample to try. I had the corvine with mashed potatoes. Best mashed potatoes on the planet. Home made. Like we say«casero». The corvine was delicious and fresh. Hands down, the best fish I’ve had. Loved this place!

Amazing food! We had the ceviche and meat empanada to start, and my entrée was corvina en salsa locos(some type of clams sauce). Everything was exquisite

Great food at an amazing price. Service was excellent. Waited only a few seconds and they served our food within minutes. Very authentic Chilean breakfast. Homemade mayo was great. Can’t beat it for the price.

I’ve been to another Chilean restaurant which really turned me off to Chilean food… But now that I’ve ventured into Pamela’s I’ll be coming here for ages! This place is so cute, a definite hidden gem. I really didn’t expect the restaurant to look as it did when seeing it from the outside. The space was also extremely clean(I get peeved by messes and unclenliness). Must try their empanadas! Side note: tip included in bill, I waaay over tipped and didn’t notice till I got home.

This is a small Chilean place, however it is full of life! Check out their wine cellar right by the entrance. The employees always great you with a smile and will recommend you some dishes, one of my favorite here is the super churasco the meat is perfectly cooked and the avocado tops it all. If you are looking for empanadas this is the place to go!

Pamela’s makes my favorite empanadas. I prefer the queso, but they make a variety. I’ve also had the pastel dish. Its similar to a shepards pie but topped with corn meal instead of potatoes. Definitely a must. I would only caution that the parking is limited. So if you are coming with a group I suggest you car pool.

I have been here many times, before the divorce and a few after, never know when the x, her parents and my children might stop by, so I have to be discrete. Everything on the menu is wonderful. I would eat here every week if I lived in the area instead of Hollywood. Yes sometimes the service is a little slow, hello welcome to Chile! This restaurant is Chile and time slows down, outside is MIAMI and we need everything five minutes before. So really if you find your self a little better off then I and are on a date or truly enjoying that home meal that seems forever away, even by air. Think about either your new encounters or your old friends and family; This is Chile not always the fastest, not on everyone’s map but It stays true and is wonderful! After your wonderful meal with seafood, yummy pies filled with amazing ingredients, the wine or pisco; you will step back into Miami and wonder what happened and where everything went.

Ok their picso sour is oh so yummy!!! but I must warn you that after a couple, no one is responsible for your behavior. Their empanadas are pretty tasty, the cheese one and the chicken one to die for. I also love their mixed ceviche, although i needed to ask for an extra habanero kick and a little bit of salt. I’ve also tried their pastel de choclo, I will happily pass on the egg in there, but it’s an interesting dish. My partner in crime always orders the churasco sandwich and LOVES it, so i will take his word for it. Try them if you want to try chilean food! not bad, but not at all fancy, so not a great date place.

First of all, the location is meh. I would not want to go there at night. Parking is awful. Tiny parking lot with small spaces and it is a one-way parking lot. Second, the food is pretty good. The food is the only reason why this place is getting 4 stars. They give you bread(does not seem to be store bought bread, it is good bread) and pebre(too spicy for me). The portions of the dishes are big. However, keep in mind that the food is very hearty and heavy. I recommend getting something like rice or salad as the side dish. One of my favorite is the mero en salsa de cangrejo. Another one of my favorite is the crema de marisco. The pastel de jaiva is very tasty, but extremely heavy. The empanadas are decent. The seafood one was too heavy though. Third, the price is cheap for what they give you. Examples: the mero dishes come with a big piece of fish and the soup had all kinds of seafood. Fourth, service was not good. The bus boy serves as the host, the one who clears tables, and the one who gives you bread and pebre. It takes a while for the server to appear and ask you for your drink and take your order. Lastly, the thing I hated about this place is that the tip is already included in the check. Maybe that is why the service is awful. The servers know they will get their tips either way, whether they provide good service or bad service. Even though the location, parking, service, and tip issue sucks, I would still recommend this place because the food is so tasty.

The food in this place is amazing. There are very few places in miami that serve food from Chile. The reason why I only give them 3 stars is because everything else, not the food the food is def 5 stars. To begin with, the place is a small room so for dinner it gets pretty packed and is very loud so having a conversation is not very pleasant. So much that another guest in a table told someone to shut up so there is def a noise issue here. I didn’t like the fact that I had to ask the waiter to bring the good Chilean bread, at first she brought some rolls instead of bringing out the good one so I felt a little cheated. I also had to ask for the home made mayo(is amazing make sure you try it) like 3 times. They only had two waiters and like 7 tables so it was very busy. Also my water was not refilled at all the whole time I was there. Good thing I didn’t eat spicy. Other than the poor service the food was freaking amazing and they make that manjar cake that Chileans make. It’s amazing you should try it

Not many place where you can say you dined like a Chilean. This place has food that looks familiar but done in ways you never knew could be done. For example their empenadas are baked and have raisins, hard boiled egg and beef, trust me it’s to die for and not greasy like a typical fried empenada. The desserts including the milhojas which translates to thousands of layers is delicious. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her brazo gitano which tastes much better than it translates to. The bottle of Viu Manent which was under $ 10 was the best Chilean wine you ever had and the price made it taste that much better! I could go on but anything you order Al pobre means it comes with two eggs on top and you know eggs on anything makes my heart flutter. Pamela’s is a dining experience like none other South American cuisine and we will be back.
