We usually take the University Park Metra train to the city, but since we were coming from work that day, we went to this one. First off, the«credit card ticket machine» that the website brags of is in the South station. We learned that the hard way when we parked in the North lot(but luckily had enough cash to cover a one-way ticket.) Parking is $ 1.25, which is the same as UP. The only reason for 3 stars is since we were unaccustomed to this train station, we stood by the benches on the platform right near the doors. The train didn’t even come all the way down where we were standing and we ended up missing it. We assumed we were fine since there were 3 other people standing by us, but they ended up missing the train too. If you do come here and park in the North lot, make sure to stand in the MIDDLE of the platform near the 211th Street sign so you don’t miss it. It sucks having to kill an hour at a train station when you could have spent that downtown :( We love the Metra otherwise and it’s our preferred method of transit. It cost $ 5.75 to get to Millenium Station from this stop during the week and they also offer weekend passes as well.
