If you have to have an MRI, and I hope most of you don’t, this place is friendly and welcoming. The front desk staff is nice and asks you a few questions when you make your appointment, and of course there are a number of forms to fill out. My last MRI was in a tube that was so scary and claustrophobic, but this wasn’t too bad. It’s noisy, so they give you ear plugs, but they said this summer they’re getting a new system with a music system for the clients to listen to. The«old» system has a count-down clock so you can keep track of how long you have to go. Keeping totally still can be tough and boring, but you do what you have to do. So much better than closed MRI. If you need it, good luck!
