I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I sure wish I lived in Olney! Ok, maybe what I wish is that this place was in Champaign. I would be there all the freaking time. I’m just sayin. Yes, it is THAT good. I’ve been wanting to try it for months, but just haven’t had the opportunity to stop in the last couple of times I was in town. I stopped by today, and you can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll be back in EVERY single time I’m in town. The atmosphere is cozy and comforting. The layout and design of the space is fantastic – tons of seating for large or small groups or individuals like little old me. The bakery display is on your right with the giant café menu hanging on the wall behind it(more on that stuff later). They have a separate dining area if you want a little more privacy, and a selection of iced teas(be still my heart!) along with bulk candies along the back wall. To your left is a great assortment of positivity-themed retail goods – stuff like umbrellas and car magnets and aprons and gift items. I bought three different things… one of them actually will be a gift. The other two things were for me! :) Step up to the counter and order your bakery item or candy(fudge, peanut butter buckeyes, cookies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, and more pastries than you can shake a stick at!), a gourmet coffee sourced from Champaign’s Columbia Street Roastery, or order up breakfast or lunch/dinner. This is a SERIOUSLY huge menu, folks. They feature a diverse and eclectic selection of all the favorites you can’t get in town otherwise. There are breakfast items from cinnamon rolls, beignets, french toast, b’s and g’s, and breakfast sandwiches, to lunch/dinner fare ranging from stuffed baked potatoes to angus burgers to buffalo wings to pasta… sandwiches, soups, salads, panini… oh my! Have a hankering for some edamame(YUM!)? Believe it or not, you can get it right here in Olney. I ordered a ‘halfsies’ consisting of a BLT and a cup of the soup of the day – Ham and Bean.(OMG – best ham and beans I’ve had in awhile…) and an iced tea. I stepped over to get my iced tea from a selection of sweet, unsweet, raspberry, or mango and walked around to look at the retail goodies and bulk candy. My food was ready and at my table before I could even make it back there. And boy was it pretty. I’m attaching a picture for your viewing pleasure. :) It was nice to sit and read and just feel at home. Before I left, I had to get a little something sweet. There were so many choices! But I couldn’t resist grandma’s recipe no-bake cookies. It was a winner! :) I’ve seen lots of reviews that address the price. It’s true – grabbing lunch here can be more expensive that hitting the McD’s drive through. But folks, you get what you pay for. This is wholesome REAL food – the kind your mom and grandma made. And there are certainly options if you have a budget in mind – so don’t stress. Just check it out for yourself. You can thank me later. They even have a drive thru! Did you know that they will cater and/or bake cakes or cupcakes or cookies? I’ve seen the pictures and they are adorable! Be sure to sign the guest book or grab the cute little sayings on a stick to take a selfie! This place is all about making sure people have good, healthy, food and a comfy environment to enjoy one another’s company. They want to make a difference in people’s lives one bite at a time. I can totally stand behind that.

Great café! Cinnamon roll was terrific!!! Very good coffee. Everything is homemade. We had breakfast and dinner here. French Onion soup was amazing along with their pasta salad! My husband had a breakfast Panini which was awesome! I had a pizza Panini for dinner which was equally as good!

Have tried more stuff there and it is a lot better. They are still high price for their food.

Enjoyed lunch there yesterday. Tried the Alice Springs panini & the mixed fruit for a side with fresh squeezed lemonade. It was delicious and the service was excellent. I do think the prices are a little high. All is all a delightful retreat for lunch. Will definitely visit again.

I have read the couple negative reviews logged on here against the bakery and while I realize that everyone is entitled to their opinions, I(truly) feel that they are unjustified(and a tad ridiculous actually). I started a business nearby at about the same time the bakery was being launched and so have had the experience of seeing their progression these past couple of years. What I have seen is a lovely addition to a community that has not had the ability to enjoy such a concept as a bakery and coffeehouse with such an expansive menu with diverse options AND business hours that allow for the establishment to be frequented. What I have seen is hard work behind the scenes to create such a worthy endeavor and produce consistently good food and drinks that hasn’t suffered from moving out of the initial ‘launch phase’ and the addition of many additional staff. I enjoy browsing the unique items for sale(LOVE the depth in meaning represented and hand made bags!) along the perimeter and have occasionally come in only to purchase gifts(tho of course have to get a coffee or baked good :) There are plenty of little nooks to find a quiet spot or bigger tables for groups(makes me smile to see a number of ladies assembled enjoying a coffee). I applaud the continued efforts to keep the place so neat and well decorated. Keep up the great work. I will continue to go out of my way to frequent such a lovely spot!

A must if you are going thru Olney! Coffee was excellent, food was delicious, and the staff were awesome! There is plenty of seating, to include a more secluded room that is great for families.

My food was great. I got the Southern Star burger(pulled pork with coleslaw on a pretzel bun). I also got the raspberry and orange lemonade. It was good but a little overpriced. The sand which was well worth the money though.

I love this place. It’s not often that in a small town you find a coffee shop/restaurant that puts effort into their branding, food, and drinks. The coffee is great, the tea selection is wonderful, and the food is outstanding. My favorite Panini’s are the turkey spinach artichoke and the Alice Springs. Also, if you don’t get a cupcake while you’re there, you’re doing life wrong.

By far the best coffee in this town. The inside is adorable and the staff is very friendly. The Albino Swirl was delicious! Would highly recommend! They also have cute little nik naks you can buy.

This is the only place I will eat in Olney, it is the cleanest and not to mention the food is always fresh and delicious! The décor is amazing it is like stepping back into northern California. The coffee is fresh and they have so many choices. They are so friendly. The absolute best choice in town!

Great atmosphere and drinks. I didn’t get anything to eat, but the menu looked good. The employees were all very friendly and polite, even though it was very busy. We’ll be back!

For the area, this is the place to get your morning caffeine fix. On a side note, we had our kids’ birthday party in the back room. It was amazingly cheap to rent the room, allow everyone to get whatever drink they wanted and includes a personalized cake. When we’re in town, we try to stop by when ever we can. Highly recommend for the area.

What a nice addition to Olney. There are few places to get decent food in this small Illinois town. The town is populated with mostly fast food and mediocre restaurants. Roll With It Bakery is by far one of the best places in town to get homemade great tasting food. I travel back to southern Illinois every year to visit family and this has become my favorite hangout. It’s a top notch coffeshop and the fresh made pastries are great. They’re known for their cinnamon rolls and white squirrel beignets(Olney is home to indigenous white squirrels). But I’ve tried food from the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and everything I’ve had has been excellent. The owners Jodi and Doug Shaw are warm and inviting and take great pride in their establishment. If traveling near Olney it’s well worth a stop for some great food and coffee.

Cozy, friendly environment, with great coffee, and better baked goods. Best cinnamon roll I have ever eaten(covered in warm pecans and cream cheese frosting!), terrific sandwiches, and, as if that weren’t enough, bulk candies! And, all this in the unlikely town of Olney, IL. If this were in Chicago, they would have a line to get in.

Great atmosphere and great fresh delicious food. A nice place to enjoy brunch, lunch, or to hang out and get good coffee. The bakery is good too with freshly made candies and fudge, cookies, cupcakes, and the best cinnamon roles.

Alice Springs chicken is amazing! I like the bread they used to use better(it was thicker), but the bread now is still ok. I’ve also had the calzone, which is quite good. Their cucumber lemonade is wonderful, even though I am not generally a cucumber fan. Fantastic service. The staff there is very friendly and efficient. I’ve only had a couple of the sweets. The sugar cookies are pretty good. I have had their version of a turtle, however the pecans are salted. Just as a personal preference, I think unsalted pecans taste better with the chocolate. All in all, we really like it a lot. Nice atmosphere. Have lunch here about once a week.

Visiting back to my home town, I was extremely pleased to see this great little place. The customer service was great with people greeting my whole family as we came in, giving us advice on what was good, and describing what the sandwiches had on them. It was a very well lit area with a nice display case for the baked goods, and a clearly visible area behind where they make the drinks. There were plenty of tables available, but it didn’t feel like they had an over-abundance of seating. After we ordered, we got our coffee(which was also delicious) and waited for our food. My grandma ordered the cinnamon roll from which I heard they started their business. It was a very good roll with not too overpowering of flavor, and not drowning in frosting. I got the veggie breakfast sandwich which was took me by surprise! I am a vegetarian, and usually the vegetarian options in small towns are nothing to write home about. But this sandwich was awesome! It had eggplant, squash, zucchini, spinach, and a fried egg covered in white cheddar cheese all on Ciabbatta bread. They have many different options for meals, and I guess they only add on when items are a success. It’s good to know you can walk in and order anything, and it will be a proven success. As we were chatting, the waiter came and talked to us about a new drink that they were developing. He said it was a cucumber mint lemonade! He brought us a sample to try and again, it was amazing! It was the perfect spring drink that was really refreshing on a warm spring morning. If anyone is around Olney, you should definitely stop in and grab a drink and a sandwich.

Outstanding little gem on the little town of Olney. A great variety of healthy and tasty items including a great coffee and of course a dessert selection to go along with the name. As a vegan, I had plenty of options and did choose a panini with roasted veggies that was outstanding. The french onion soup with no bread and cheese was very tasty. Can’t wait to come back again on my way through town and try something new.
