Better than Home depot, they have better and wider Selection of products in most of the department I need to visit for my home improvements. The people are very friendly and patient when I need help or suggestions.

I like this place! It’s much better than Home Depot. They have tools and not just the people behind the counters. This is different than most large hardware stores. You can generally find someone with a brain fairly quickly that is willing to help.
As for the selection, they have just about anything you need. Seriously!

If you are having appliances installed, use Lowes. I had a really bad time with Home Depot installing an overhead microwave. It took them coming out three times to get it in! The first time the box look like it fell off a truck going down the highway. The second time the idiots that came didn’t know how to use an electric drill & ended up tearing up the metal on the top of the microwave. FYI, Home Depot uses 3rd party installers, they are not employees. I have used Lowes services since with no issues at all.
