This is the BEST place to get away from it all! My cabin was comfy and cozy and tucked away in the trees for a very secluded feeling. The views from every angle are spectacular(you can lie in bed and look out the window to see the lake and the mountains) and the little beach down below is breathtaking. I needed a place to relax and rejuvenate, and the Bayside Cottages was the perfect place. I’ll be back, again and again!

What a great lil retreat and perfect getaway weekend. Just what we were looking for to relax and recharge this is ideal for a completely secluded and private retreat– away from all people, shops, hustle n bustle… If you want the shops and restaurants or grocery store, it’s a 20 min drive. There are multiple cottages to choose from, but since it was just the two of us, we opted for the lummi cottage. Cute and cozy– complete w a super warm fire

A super romantic place. I love the layout of the cabin and the property. The trees are growing in a little obscuring the view out to the Salsih Sea, but you’ll just feel like you’re deeper in the woods on a remote island. The bedding was very comfortable-the shower nice and hot and the kitchen perfect for a multi-day getaway. You’re a little way away from most of the island’s attractions-and this can be a tough place to bike to-but it is a great place if you plan on staying on the island for multiple days and plan to cook instead of go out to eat. Obstruction Pass State park is pretty close by for eveniing hikes. The owners are gracious.

We stayed in the Peapod Cottages for Thanksgiving week, our unit had a small fridge and microwave, and a great reading nook where you could look out over the water. The one bedroom /one bath was spacious with what appeared to be a queen size sleigh bed. The other cottage had the full kitchen, and two rooms and one bath, although the rooms were a bit smaller, they too had nice beds, and a living room with a flat panel tv. We’re looking forward to staying in the Plum Tree Cottage(house) in the future!
