My son treated me to buttercreams from Reppert’s a couple of months ago. They are my favorite candy. On special occasions, such as the holidays, I have gotten gifts of buttercreams but never had Reppert’s brand. These were the BEST chocolates I have ever tasted in my life! After the candies were gone, we stopped by Reppert’s a few weeks later. It is such an old-fashioned style, charming little shop. With the holidays approaching, I have Reppert’s on my list of places to go to for treats for loved ones.

Fresh homemade chocolate that is truly terrific. Family run bussines making different candies for several generations. This year they added a self serve ice cream bar with an assortment of homemade toppings. It’s a real treat. I love the commitment shown and the products produced. The white chocolate dots with sprinkles are my favorites and one trip to this gem will get you hooked.

The Repperts chocolate factory is actually in Pleasantville. It’s not quite Willy Wonka, but it’s worth a trip out to buy the awesome freshest chocolate. It’s always a big hit around Easter. Around Thanksgiving time I make it a point to stop in to buy one of their very cool large chocolate turkeys. The kids always love that! Check their hours before you go as I think they still vary seasonally. And the Bridge Inn is just across the street is a good place to stop for lunch.

Got a box of chocolates by accident and now they are our favorite(next to Premise Maid). Love their pre-made boxes as well as build your own. Must do if in the area and you love chocolate.

The best chocolate I’ve ever had, hands down(and I’ve been around). Locally owned and operated and open year round. It can be a curse to live as close to this place as I do! Good selection of sugar free candy as well. Reppert’s can become extremely busy around the holidays, so be prepared to be in the midst of a crowd. They have a nicely done mail order service if you can’t make it to the shop in person.

I got a box of Reppert’s Chocolate Pretzels as a Christmas gift from a person I haven’t met yet; my girlfriend’s aunt. Let the thoughtfulness sink in for a moment. They’re itty-bitty pretzels, the kind you get out of vending machines, but are enveloped in this chocolate so aphotic it swallows light. And it tastes as darkly seductive as it looks, merging with the salty pretzels as only such a union can, grasping your soul in raven’s talons and pulling it down into The Underworld. What iniquity lies in such an innocent looking box, borne of such an innocent gesture…

This is THE best chocolate! I have not found a better chocolatier anywhere in the US. At only $ 10something per pound — it cannot be beat. Heck, I’d pay $ 20 a pound for this stuff. Excellent chocolate– hometown locally owned for many years — The Schell(great last name! :) family has my attention and my vote as the best chocolate. If you haven’t tried it — you must. Godiva, Jacques Torres, and Ghirardell… eat your heart out!

I have never actually been in person, but my family has been getting chocolates here for years for every holiday. Very creamy milk chocolate, lovely filled peanut butter, turtles, coconut, and chocolate covered nuts. Everything I’ve ever had has been top notch quality and delicious.
