Two burnt deep fried hot dogs with watery texas hot sauce and greasy onion chips, $ 9. Thanks for the heartburn.

A Twirl is actually a chocolate bar made by Cadburys of Birmingham back in England. But you didn’t need to know that so let’s move on. This tiny little ice cream shop is nothing special. It has nice employees, decent tasting custard, and great bargain basement prices for the holy boys and girls of St. Bonaventure. Which to me just sounds like Saint Bent-you-over. Which is pretty much accurate, isn’t it? If you want some custard for a dirt cheap price in a dirty Catholic town in the beautiful hills of the Southern Crocodile Tiers, then pop over here and order a baby size or a small, which are perfectly large, and enjoy yourself.

Okay, this is an odd one. This second generation family-run ice cream, sandwich, and soup joint has some really good items when you don’t have much money, it’s cold outside, and you want something different. Try the vegetable beef soup and get the large size because it is really really good. I was shocked when I got back to my room and tasted it. The spice was perfect and it had plenty of everything. They also sell chili, which I tried, but being from the south I would say it was just okay… I like my chili spicy and no beans. Now here is the real odd one. As a matter of fact, the first time I ever heard of this type sandwich was on the old Roseanne TV series. Remember when they were going to open up a sandwich place and sell LOOSEMEAT sandwiches and how funny that was. Well folks, they sell LOOSEMEAT sandwiches and they are damn good. Get the large size because after the first bite you will be hooked. I got mine dressed like a cheeseburger and it was really good. You would think it would be greasy but it wasn’t. It was moist meat that was very fine(hence loose) and it had a light sauce or spice on it that really made the sandwich. The roll was good too. As for the ice cream, I can’t tell you anything about it because when I stopped in it was 19 °F degrees outside and I was in no mood for ice cream. Remember, Olean is the home of the LOOSEMEAT!!!
