Their so rude. During the nice weather they blare, and I mean, blare music for hours! No consideration for the people that have to live next to this place.

If you are anywhere near Olean, get to this place now! Beautiful place with a rich history. The owners are the coolest guys. Being a Vegan from San Francisco, I was worried about what my brother and I would eat/drink on our trip to bolivar to visit our mom. The vegan jackfruit sandwich was amazing! Their in house vanilla cardamom soda was yummy. We decided to visit mom more often just to go to this place!

This is a pretty neat bar. I don’t live here but I frequently visit because my boyfriend does. He finally took me here last week. We went for lunch with his grandparents, and it was their first time as well. The beer selection is kind of small, but they brew their own beers which is pretty neat! The grandparents ordered a sampler which came with 4 different beers. I ordered the mango wheat beer which was delicious! My boyfriend got the 4 Sale By Neighbors. Both were good but I prefer the mango wheat. IMO, the menu is the perfect size. It’s not big and overwhelming, and there is still a good variety to choose from. I was sooo happy(and surprised) to see a vegan option — the BBQ jackfruit sandwich! It was absolutely delicious and came with vegan slaw, kettle chips, and a pickle. My boyfriend tried the south olean nachos. He enjoyed them but found it a little weird that all of the queso was at the bottom of the basket and not on top of the chips. Grandparents ordered the Brewers salad, margarita flatbread, and two jumbo pretzels. Overall everything was great and I would come back here again!

My grade is based far more on potential than experience. Awesome venue that was both historic and modern. Very cool interior, outdoor dining area, fire pit and urinal, very good beer and food(although limited selection) but service was horrific! Girl was nice enough but knew nothing about the menu(although it was supposedly new) and took forever to return. Drinks were empty for at least 20 minutes before we got refills from the bar and about 20 to get napkins and salt and pepper for our food — which had to be delivered by the owner. I will definitely return and give a second chance because there were a ton of positives… but terrible service ruined a potentially great experience!

All things in life seem to reciprocate. Take a simple brewery in the 30’s and 40’s that supplied a community with local brew. Then like so many things large corporation with deep pockets puts them out of business. Fast forward to 2015. Along comes some guys that want that local flavor back in Olean NY. Had a Green Street IPA. It was very good! Not over the top with hoppy flavor but a perfect 5.5%ABV. So I think I’ll have another.

Where to begin… first of all, they have multiple vegan options on the menu. The bbq jackfruit«pulled pork» is the best thing ever. I prefer it without the vegan«cheese» though. Sandwiches are gigantic so get the half size. Pizzas were amazing. They have vegan pizza too! More importantly, the beer is awesome. Watch out though, they have higher alcohol contents than many are not accustomed to. They have a cool area out back with a great gas fire pit. There is a window into the actually brewery inside, so you can watch them do their magic.

Great addition to the Olean area. Have not tried the food, but as someone who loves craft beers but hates dark beers & IPAs I was still very satisfied. I loved the Prohibition which was a cream ale. The mango wheat was honestly a little hoppy for a wheat beer(not fruity or sweet) but still a good beer. I gave them 5 stars because I think I have pretty picky tastes and feel most people would enjoy their IPAs.
