Speedway

When it’s time to fill up, which is often for my gas indulgent car, this spot is on my list of regular stops. With speedway, you can download their app or use the physical card and collect points. Once you have a few bazillion points, you can get a free slurpee or something equivalent. They do offer gas discounts of 10 cents per gallon but strangely, you can’t invoke this with the app from the pump. You need to go inside to have them scan your electronic coupon.
Nevertheless, collecting points is a fun and nearly pointless exercise in the gamification of mundane shopping so our retailers can track our purchase behavior and optimize the shopping experience for us and their bottom line.
As for service, the store is typically clean and the proprietors are generally in a good mood which is much appreciated.
