– As of Fall 2014, Spoon Me has closed :(– I live in this town, so I’m a frequent customer to Spoon Me. It’s really creative in how there’s a monthly charity it donates to and school of that day & name of the day(if you’re from that school/you have that name, there’s a discount). It’s also very modern and clean. I can’t speak for the flavors because I always get Eurotart. Eurotart is pretty good(typical froyo quality). When it first opened, I constantly saw the attendants cutting up fruit and refreshing the stock. There were also attendants who constantly offered samples. Now, samples are rarely offered — you need to go out of your way to get them. The toppings(specifically the fruit and mochi) are not always the freshest. In fact, the mochi are usually stale and hard when I go there now. :( The quality has definitely declined, and there are definitely other fresher froyo stores that are nearby.

Super cute and very clean! Some interesting flavors. The setup is like any other Cups or Lets Yo. Wall of flavors and toppings bar. I had the irish mint, tart and death by chocolate. All good, kicked my sweet tooth to the curb. Tastes a bit artificial, but I knew that going in it’s no yogomango. The kiwi I topped my yogurt with tasted not so fresh.

Your typical froyo place, similar to 16 handles or pinkberry. Start out with a large cup, self serve, put on your own toppings and then have it weighed when paying. It can get pretty expensive, but that comes with the experience. I got the thin mint swirl, cranberry tart swirl and the strawberry shortcake swirl with sprinkles. Last time I was here the pumpkin pie swirl was great too. Basically, they change their flavors pretty often and usually they’re all really good. I still recommend asking for a tasting cup, because nobody wants to get stuck with a cup of flavorless froyo(it happens). *I read the reviews before coming to Spoon Me and was intrigued by Carol S.‘s review about the young girl behind the counter. A grumpy, young employee who would rather play on her iPad than crack a smile. Turning this into a social experiment, my sister and I came in and tried whatever we could to see if she’d crack even the slightest smile. First we walked in smiling. No smile back.(That would have been too easy). Then, we went up to pay, were extra friendly, smiling and thanking her. No smile back. THEN the last measure, we gave her a dollar tip. No smile. None. So in the end we wasted a dollar on our social experiment, but now we all know that this girl means business. She is absolutely too cool for school(or at least too cool to be friendly). Regardless, the froyo is great! =)

Our weekly favorite. Only disappointment is sometimes the hot fudge machine is empty or off, especially by the end of the night.

Lots of flavors, not a HUGE variety of toppings but enough to choose and be happy with, great froyo taste/consistency, nice ambience/décor, and clean. The young girl with a peace-sign tattoo on her wrist who was working behind the counter was very cold, rude, and unenergetic. I could tell by her bad attitude that she would’ve much rather stayed on her iPad than help me sample a flavor. Later, the lady who owns the shop appeared and she was extremely kind and hospitable, and offered to take my finished cups while my friend and I were chatting. She did not rush us at all and shared a few words with us, although it was close to closing time. I appreciated her very much. I’d like to be back to try their smoothies or waffles, since my cup of froyo was great!
