Five Guys Burgers and Fries

I rarely eat beef. Rarer is when I eat beef that I don’t prepare myself. We were shopping and realized that we hadn’t eaten all day. A Five Guys was right down the street, so we said «Why not?» and stepped in.
First — it reminded me of one of the old hamburger stands that used to be in the town in which I grew up. Right away, I felt comfortable and knew what I was going to get. Sure enough, the bacon cheeseburger «all the way» took me back to my misspent youth. I savored every juicy bite. The high-​tech soda machines were the main attraction. I could have spent the rest of the afternoon trying to create my own flavor combinations, but my burger was ready and I wanted to eat it while it was hot.
We decided against fries — we just wanted to put something in our stomachs, and we had an hour ride ahead of us. Fries would have filled us up and not left room for dinner I spent the previous day preparing. Maybe another time we’ll try them.
As a side note, this outlet was very clean and bright. That was a big plus for us.

This is the first time I have ever had one of their burgers. I’ve got to say it is one of the best I ever had! For a well done burger it was so juicy. We both ordered the bacon cheeseburger «all the way.» We also got a regular size drink. They handed us our cups and we checked out our options at the soda «machine.» It was touch screen. There were so many choices. We finally decided on on the Minute Maid peach drink. I’m glad we didn’t get the fries, otherwise we would have been over stuffed. Over all a great experience!

First time going here and it was absolutely terrible! I went with my boyfriend and we each got a cheeseburger with fries. The cheese wasn’t even melted on our burgers and our fries were so soggy that it was a disappointment. Way too much salt on them too as well as the cajun spice that they put on them (even though I asked them not to put it on). Highlight of our visit was the lady who got her burger but there was no burger, just the bun with cheese and lettuce. Ha! How do you mess that up? Such an overrated place I will continue going to Jake’s Wayback burger down the street, they have yet to disappoint me and they know how to make a great burger. Only good thing about Five Guys is that they have good customer service but that is about it.

This place is really good– I’ve been to a couple lousy five guys and this one beats them by a long shot. People who complain about prices/​being greasy… wahhhhh :’(

I felt sick after eating here. The burgers are overpriced and so greasy. We waited 20 minutes for our food with one person ahead of us. There were literally 15 employees standing around starring as you eat and they shout the whole time between each other. The fries are disgusting. 2 burgers, one fry and 2 sodas were $ 27! Save your money and go to jack rabbits or the monkey farm. Way better food for half the price. Never eating there again.

The fries were over salted but I chalked that up to new staff. Still love this place and it’s nice to have one near by.
