I booked this motel last minute without reading the reviews. When I did read them I was horrified., but it was the only motel available for a good rate. When I got there I was totally blown away. This motel was pefect! The room was spotless. It had 2 beds a kitchenette a nice bathroom. It was a hop and skip to the beach. It had everything you would need for a beach vaca. Pool was nice and clean, employees were friendly. I can’t believe that it had bad reviews. I will definitely go back next year. Thank you seabreeze motel.

This motel is super close to the beach. The staff is friendly and they seem to be accommodating. We didn’t ask for much for the two nights we were there. The place we stayed had potential to be amazing. It was like having your own town home. There were only five units and it was set aside from the main motel. The room was sub par. The windows were crank windows and they didn’t close. I had to push them closed from the outside. The blanket on the bed was disgusting. It was ripped and faded. The carpets definitely did not look shampooed. It’s not hard to go and purchase a $ 80 carpet cleaner at the very least. There was mold in the bathroom in the shower definitely due to a leak. Bathrooms generally have mold but this was black. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. We had to shower with the door open. The deadbolts did not work. There weren’t any curtains in the bedroom or on the back door. We used a sheet over the back door and we slept on the pull out in the living room. There was rusted water dripping down the walls in the bedroom near the fire alarm system. There was rusted water or mildew dripping from the walls in the bathroom. The AC in the living room worked mediocrely. There was mold and mildew growing around the AC unit inside near the sleeve. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean on the surface. If they spent 2 more hours in the room, they could have really changed my opinion. The walls needed a coat of paint not just touch up marks with a different gloss paint then the original. Steam the carpets. Clean the mold with some bleach and kilz the ceiling. Put up some curtains and replace the bed linens. And the most important thing! Please make sure the hot water works. We took a cold shower every day! We stayed and didn’t complain because it was just us and it was only two nights. If my 5 month old was with us, I would have demanded my money back in full and got my family out of there in a heartbeat.

Great location, rooms were clean, front desk was really nice, free parking, walk to the beach, stores, restaurants and amusements. We rented two rooms and were given a discount which I really appreciated. It is an older motel but our rooms were nice and clean and well maintained. I would go back again… Susan

A «Three» means I would go back, and I just did, for the(6 th ?) time. The place is a dive, and much like Sully’s Bar in Quincy, it is not trying to be so, it just is. The walls are concrete block, painted. this does not offend me; it did one in my party. Block walls are fire proof, water proof, almost maintenance free, that does not offend me.
The semi condemned rear porch has been demolished. Too bad they could not complete the repairs by Memorial Day… Lord knows they have so much employment in ME, they just could not keep up. The Host was a clueless Tater Tot. As of this writing, none of the rooms facing the railroad tracks on the lower level could be rented, and looked like a construction yard, one week before Memorial Day. The shower had obvious long term green mildew. And yes, I still give it a 3, because honest Unilocalers do that if they would return. One can walk to a few good bars from here, and if one cuts across the hole in the fence at the RR tracks, a Packie, where you will over pay to former Soviet thralls.
