Jimmy’s Oceanside Parking Lot

The parking and bathrooms when available at least a 4.
The $ 6.75 haddock sandwich I had looked very similar to a McDonald’s filet of fish, and was lacking in flavor for sure.
Another thing that sucks is we had friends that arrived with only a few spots open and they asked to pay for a second spot to hold for us, and the said no way…

We just happened to find Jimmy’s by accident. After we parked it was extremely easy to get in and out of our vehicle. The beach was easily accessible. The bathrooms were always clean. As we traveled back to our car or to go take a walk into the Main Street you could see the attendant constantly sweeping and wiping down the bathrooms. I would recommend parking here and will always check there first now when ever we go! Thanks for a great day at the beach!

Okay so I have to admit that parking beach side is extremely convenient (and worth it.)
Jimmy’s fills up fast which is probably the reason why I’ve never parked there (and I am frugal but Mr. G urged me to pull in and I am thankful I did.
The parking lot is clean and easy to get in and out. There are 2 bathrooms for men and 2 for women with mirror and running hot and cold water. We got a bathroom pass and it got checked a few times. There are a few changing areas and outside showers to rinse off the salt and sand.
There is also a small snack bar with picnic tables.
I admittedly liked being able to go back and forth to the car for things that had been forgotten rather than walking the mile + to the big lot down street.
The real added bonus that makes it worth it is we were far enough down the beach away from the pier that we actually had room to move and spread out. The kids got to play and run around without stepping on someone or their blanket and we too didn’t get stepped on or have to hear a bunch of other conversations. What a beautiful thing!

Great place to park! It’s right on the beach and has bathrooms! Otherwise you’ll have to walk into town for public bathrooms. They also have changing rooms, outdoor shower, and food!
