So my husband and 2yr old daughter spent a week in Old Orchard for labor day, we went to all the places to eat on the strip and in the center. Everywhere was horrible! The last night on our vacation we were almost tempted to buy mac and cheese and cook in our hotel. But we said lets go out one more time and see what else there was. The Butcher Burger wasnt that visible form the center so we hadn’t seen it before that night. My husband said let’s try it there. He is a burger guy he said that he had the best burger he had ever had, I had the chicken sandwich and my daughter had a hot dog. My chicken sandwich was huge and we were all filled it was so good great food and great service we will def. be going back there on our next trip.

Hamburgers were very good and flavorful. I got the house burger and my husband got the high standard. The bun started to fall a part towards the end but other then that no complaints with the hamburgers. It did take a while to get our food and there was only one order a head of us. We had the cheese fries and there was a little too much cheese and salt. It was over whelming and you couldn’t really enjoy the fires as they were all soggy. I will defiantly be back but only order the regular fries.

OMG… I wish I had the words to express how delicious my burger was. I had the (Ultimate something?)…second on from the top of menu… this was possibly the BEST burger I have ever had! The fries and onion rings were delicious too. Once my burger was gone I went through a period of sadness and mourning for the yummy taste that was now gone. Therefore, I WILL BE BACK as soon as possible! If you don’t like these burgers there is something wrong with you… just saying :-)

Despite the negative reviews. I ate there today. The burgers were awesome! The cashier and guy cooking were very helpful and courteous. I will tell my friends when in oob definitely go eat there.

They had no lobster like the menu said. They said they could not make the crispy haddock sandwich but coukd bake it ok. It was full of salt, so much so, could not eat it. They made me a chix sandwich and were very nice, but I have no need to return.

I ordered take out got my food in time they said (15 mins) very fast. I ordered falafel sandwich and fries falafel not the worst but not good by any means. The fries were the worst I’ve ever had EVER and I’ve eaten plenty of fries in my life. I ate 3 fries and threw them away they have been fried multiple times and they are not serving fresh hand cut fries like they say they do. Its like biting into a pocket of old grease. OH AND VERY OVER PRICED 13 $ for fries and sandwich. Waste of money do not eat here much better options like any other place in oob.

Over priced buy burger was good but not great. There is better food at a better price elsewhere in OOB. That said if you are craving a burger it is fine. Perhaps think about getting the kids burger. Pretty much the same but you get fries and juice for the price of a single adult burger and the reality is the burger is pretty much the same as an adults.

I was looking forward to trying this place out. Inside was very clean and there was plenty of space to sit down and eat as a family. The person taking our order was very pleasant so things were off to a great start. However, after placing our orderthe good things ended. It took almost 25 minutes for two burgers, an order of fries, poutine and fried pickles. The burger wasn’t bad, however the fries and poutine were cold and everything was very salty. It is getting three stars for the seating and for the friendly person that took our order. Was disappointed in everything else.

AMAZING! The burger was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. After eating here — I will not be trying another burger anywhere else in OOB. Yes, a little pricier than a normal burger joint but well worth it. Not processed at all and simply delicious. Will be back multiple times this summer. Staff was very friendly too :)

Not a great first experience. Fries were soggy and very greasy. Onion rings were not cooked correctly the day we went. The coating did not adhere to the rings and the onions were very limp and very greasy so much so it leaked out the container. The burgers were good. Not sure I’ll visit again unfortunately.

Tasty and a lot less preprocessed than everything else nearby. Presence of ghost peppers (in the Hawaiian special) and the Sriracha with the condiments helps reassure a visiting diner that this is more contemporary fare. Poutine was good, with nice squeaky cheese curds; the pulled pork burger, and mac and cheese balls were all very tasty. Could maybe use more beverage selection.
Chicken nuggets suffered a bit from being homemade — they were nicely fried but didn’t hold together well (made of shredded chicken, it appeared). Being homemade doesn’t mean you can’t use meat glue (ACTIVA, transglutaminase), Butcher Burger!

Had the Standard burger. Possibly the best burger I’ve ever had. Thin sliced jalapeños. Crispy bacon. Cooked perfectly. Deep fried Mac and cheese balls complimented by the zesty dipping sauce. Authentic chicken nuggets with a crumbly breading and tasty breast meat dipped in home made sweet and sour sauce. Fries were fresh cut and tasty as well but got soggy fast. No big deal, the burger was so filling who needs fries? I’ll be back.

Exactly the type of restaurant OOB needs! There are pizza and sandwich places aplenty, but nowhere to go for a delicious, gourmet burger. Gracias, Butcher Burger for filling that void! The burgers are delicious and filling, and there are even options for vegetarians (the falafel burger with goat cheese and beet sauce had even the carnivores in our group taking pause).
The hand cut fries were a little on the greasy side, but it didn’t stop us from devouring them. All and all– it was a great, new lunchtime option.

Great food for fast food. The French fri are fresh cut and can have several different toppings. Such as salt, sea salt and salt & vinegar. The hamburgers are juice and cooked to order. There is no public bathroom which is a negative. The closest bathroom is two buildings down and it is $.50 to use. The seating is picnic tables inside and outside. No servers.
