Sears Carpet Cleaning & Air Duct Cleaning

This is the worse place to have clean your carpets ! My carpet is worse than before I cleaned it. I thought by using Sears would be a good idea. Guess even the service end of sears has gone down the tubes.

I ordered 14 vents cleaned, dryer vent and hvac coil cleaned from Sears just this April and so far I’m satisfied. I reserved and scheduled it thru their website and I was called promptly the next day for confirmation. I was not pressured to get other unnecessary services or products they just wanted to confirm my order. When the 2 service crew came to my house they were prompt but they weren’t wearing the blue uniform as described in their ads. One of them wore a shoe cover the other didn’t. They didn’t really walked me through the procedure so I just assumed they’re pros. Our house is only one level, only 3 br/​2 ba for the entire service that I ordered it only took them 1 hr and 30 mins. I was skeptical at 1^st I thought that was fast for a bill with a total of almost $ 500. I was not surprised about the price because once you order it online they will tell you how much it would cost. I just thought after they were done that the job wasn’t done thoroughly because it was so quick. But sears back up their service within 30 days if you’re not satisfied you can call them back to redo it, so when this was explained to me I was a little relieved. It’s been almost 2 weeks now, so far I can see the difference with the dust buildup in our house. Before, in one week there’s already a thick collection of dust in our furniture, so far I’ve only dusted once since after sears cleaned our vents 2 wks later, there were still dust but it’s not as thick as before. We have portable air purifier in our rooms and the filter is not that dirty as before. I’ve changed the filter from our return vent since after Sears came and the collection of dust is not as thick and dirty as before but I still change the filter anyway so I can test the difference when I check it again a month later. So far I’m satisfied with the service. I only gave it 4 stars bc it was quite expensive I don’t know how the market is for air duct cleaning but I’ve asked other reputable and popular companies and they charge just about the same if not more. I chose sears bc I can see the price upfront thru their website and like I said the customer rep and the service crew didn’t force me to get any other unnecessary services. I will choose them again to help me with my spring cleaning next time when it’s up to clean our vents again.
