Not happy standing in line here for the second time, last time they sent me home with a new box that didn’t work. After 3 weeks, many many phone calls, visiting 2 other stores and having a replacement box shipped out to my house service has been restored. However, the box they shipped out is much smaller than this one that I’m responsible to return, so it wouldn’t fit into the shipping package for return. So, back to standing in line a Comcast. Not happy, I’ll be asking for a discount on my bill for lack of service and and poor customer service.

The absolute WORST service! If you’d like to be able to use the wifi that you pay monthly for, then this most definitely isn’t the service provider for you. AND, on top of not being able to use my wifi, anytime I call customer service(weekly, sometimes daily, basis) I am ALWAYS somehow«disconnected». Really meaning their way of dealing with issues is to hang up on their customers.

When I cancelled, they informed me that I had an approximately $ 20 check that would be mailed in 6 weeks. Please tell me why they are still sending me a bill stating I owe $ 5. And when i have called them, they tell me to ignore the bill. I dont want to risk being sent to collections on their negligence. I was getting calls from comcast stating I owed money but then the calls stop and they sent the bill. I have spoken with the billing department probably 4 times regarding this issue. The last time I spoke to them they said that it has been corrected. When i inquired about the $ 20, I was informed that my account has been zeroed out and I owe nothing. To be honest, I just dont ever want to talk to them again despite that they technically took my $ 20.

This is not in regards to the service center but to comcast overall. We have had issues with internet dropping continuously ever since signing up for service. We have called numerous times and had technicians come out to our house multiple times as well. Wires have been changed, connections checked, and no one seems to find the problem. Have changed modems and routers without success on our own as well. Out of the year we have had them the internet worked well for a total of about 1 month. Literally since then it drops every 5 minutes with the last 3 days being every 1 – 2 minutes. Frustrating when you work from home plus have no other choice in internet in this area. I think they use this to their advantage as the options and costs are higher than our last IPS(ATT) which worked without fail. Comcast ranks high on the worst service companies for a reason.

Comcast — Just the mention of that word in some instances invokes the gag reflex. My wife and I would have LOVED to use ANYONEELSE’S service, but Comcast is all that we can get at our home. I will also add that I have been on the phone with them concerning billing issues for(no joke) at least 5 – 6HOURS of my life and time that should be spent on something else… ANYTHING else. The only reason for the 3 stars, and not lower, is that while I HATE dealing with these crooks, the service and internet speed itself is top notch, and their new X1DVR and user interface isn’t terrible. It’s a touch slow for my tastes, but it allows you to record quite a few shows at once while still watching tv. This is a nice feature, likely implemented to combat others such as the Hopper, TiVo, etc that allow multiple channel recordings while still viewing live tv. Bottom line: If you can get another service, DOSO. If not, then I guess you’re stuck.

I would never give comcast a 5 star review! Don’t know what the other commenter was thinking on this one! I’ve always always always had the worst service with them and it’s always been like pulling teeth to get them to help me out with anything as far as my service and I could go on for days about the horrible complications this company has put me through. They do not even deserve one star!

I know… a 5 star review for Comcast? I PROMISE I haven’t lost my mind. But here’s the deal… about 2 years ago I had to return something to Comcast on site. I went to the Nashville location on my lunch break and ended up being gone an hour and a half(it was about a 15 minute drive) because I had to wait in line. I even tried to go at an off time(I think I took a late lunch) and it made no difference. There were 20 people in front of me(even to just drop something off) and I waited FOREVER amongst the weirdos around me. Sorry, but it’s true: Anywho, so I was bemoaning my upcoming trip to drop off my router, when my friend told me that they have a location in Hermitage off the beaten path that is not busy and luckily isn’t too far from my work. So I drove a bit, and walked right up to a rep and was out the door in 2 minutes. YES. If you can make it out here without driving too far, do it. You will be extremely happy you did. The other location is an absolute nightmare.
