Fantastic selection of plants. Very fun atmosphere with lots of extras (people selling crafts) to browse. Employees helpful until asked second question then had attitude problem because of my lack of horticulture knowledge.
People rave about how cheap this place is… maybe for some small stuff… but hanging plants were on par with others prices if not more expensive.
Fun for a visit once but wouldn’t make a drive out of my way.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, wonderful looking plants, very, very large selection. Special attention is made to point out and separate those plants that are NATIVE to NC. Pricing alone could make it worth the trip from just about wherever you may be traveling! Most people should know that you don’t buy plants from the big chains anyway but; it’s a tremendous bonus for me to be able to wholeheartedly support a NC business! I am eagerly anticipating my next opportunity to go back to Painters!
