Good Filipino food for everybody. One of the only Filipino restaurants I would want to go. On the spot food for every one. Could be bigger though and could be closer to my place

A good spot to hit up if your in the Old Bridge area. One of the few Filipino Restaurants that I dont mind visiting. I only get one thing here, and one thing only, thats the chicken teriyaki. Which is weird because chicken teriyaki isnt Filipino. Its Japanese. But im not complaining, the damn thing is amazing. Super saucy and its has that slight burnt edges that goes well with white rice. So, if you are ever in the area, and you stop by here, dont be a fool, grab a container of this stuff and see if you dont get addicted.

In the Central Jersey area, there isn’t a huge selection of Filipino restaurants/stores to choose from. If I’m too lazy to drive to Fil-Am in Edison(my fave Filipino store because of the quality of the food and the wider selection of groceries), I’ll come here. In the front of the small store, they have 3 aisles of your typical Filipino/Asian snacks, sauces, and frozen items. In the back they have the food. Most people order food to go, but if you do choose to eat there, there are 2 or 3 tables. My favorite dish here would probably be the Chicken Teriyaki. The other food have their on and off days. There’s times when my parents will get, Chicken Adobo for instance, and it’ll be good and then the next time I won’t really like it. I’m not sure if this is a result of the cooks varying, but it’s not consistent for me.

The food is part of the Leo’s BBQ restaurants, unfortunately thats the only similarity, it suffers from same chain, different cook syndrome. No comparison to Leos in food quality or audience. Area is smaller only 4 tables, fewer choices, primarily a takeout and grocery store. Had the spinach laing which was savory w calderetta which was tasty ‘w/o the oiliness you get at other places. Nowhere as good as Leos.
