If you are looking for top notch toys with service to match this is the place to go! The toys are all well made and last years. The sales team is amazing especially my personal favorite Ivy whom always helps me find the most amazingly perfect gift for any child and wraps it too, making for a beautiful presentation. The service, and products are simply the best in the toy field! I couldn’t say enough about this store.

Toy Genius is what a wonderful toy store should be. BEAUTIFUL, well made, fun and educational toys in every price bracket. They have items that you don’t even know exist and the kids LOVE! The impulse items near the register are always a fun surprise and fantastic stocking stuffer treats.
Of course the best thing of all are the staff — bright, cheerful and HELPFUL. I always stop in for birthdays and Christmas with a list of kids in various ages and the staff have consistently suggested gifts that are always the recipient’s favorite. And they always offer to assemble and gift wrap (which, by the way, when I picked up an oversized bell xylophone it was wrapped with such a profusion of curly ribbon that it was downright magical.)
You must stop in — it’s an incredibly lovely experience.

Toy genius is the most amazing toy store I have ever been in. They have the most unique and special toys, books and crafts. The staff, particularly Ivy, is knowledgable and helpful. They spend as much time as you need to find the perfect gift!

Love this place! Its my local go to for birthday parties and with 3 kids, I have plenty. Ivy is usually behind the register and always takes the time to say hello and how are you since my first experience with the store. She makes great suggestions in all price ranges that are unique and age appropriate. I recently met the owner. He took time not only to locate gifts for me, but took the some time with my son teaching him how to use these «magic» lights. My son was so excited, once he was shown what to do, he entertained customers coming in. I even got some holiday shopping in! Since the holiday gifts were a surprise, they even offered to hold the items until I could back without any kids. The best part — all of my gifts will be wrapped and ready to go! The customer service is top notch, the pricing is a tad higher, but totally worth it for a busy, working mom of 3!

I was at Toy Genius today to get loom bracelets (today’s fad item) for my daughter. Loom bracelets are sold everywhere right now but I went to Toy Genius because I knew they would have the best variety and the newest colors. A very helpful and pleasant employee named Ivy steered me to the rack of bracelets. She showed me all the hottest stuff, and I loaded up. It might cost a few cents more here than the big box stores, but the selection and service can’t be beat. Not to mention the lovely (and free!) gift wrapping. Ivy did a great job, she sort of upsold me but in the right way; she showed me the newest style of bracelet, and even let me take a pic of the ones on her arm to show my daughter. She explained why this new style would require more supplies to complete. Yes, she sold me more than I had intended, but in a good way, and that’s what makes a great salesperson, right? She was as helpful as can be, and the store is a little wonderland. Great place.

Ditto to everything Melissa M. said. I stumbled upon this place a year or so ago when I needed a toddler birthday gift. This place has amazing customer service. Everyone greets you and they always have lots of great suggestions — even when you don’t have any clue what to buy for a kid you don’t really know (son’s daycare classmate!). The always ask what your price range is too, but be prepared to be firm if you care — some sales people tend to steer you towards items at the top of your range or even a few dollars over. But others are very respectful of what you’re willing to spend and suggest great toys at a variety of prices.
The prices are typically a couple dollars more than discount toy stores or Amazon but between the great service and getting a beautifully wrapped item (and I mean really nicely wrapped!) ready for gifting, it’s totally worth it.
The store is not enormous but it’s packed to the gills with lots of cool toys, including a lot of unique items you won’t find at places like Toys r Us. My kids LOVE going there to play — they have tons of toys out for kids to «test drive» and they encourage playing. You never feel like they are giving you the evil eye when your kid is running around like a lunatic. The only negative is my guys throw a fit when it’s time to leave (offers of ice cream at the fro yo place next door work in a pinch!). Who can blame them though? This place rocks!
It’s a solid 20 minute drive for me to get there (and I pass a Toys r Us and a mall on the way) but if I know I need a kid gift, I plan the time to make the trip. This is my go-​to place now.

I went in looking for a one year old’s birthday and had no idea what to get. A very friendly employee named Dani was super helpful. She went through all the options in my price range and found the perfect gift. She took the time to assemble the gift and wrapped it beautifully. I would highly recommend this place. Excellent customer service. Thank you Dani!

Wow… Stopped into Toy Genius today just to look around. I don’t think I will be going toy shopping at mass retailers any time soon. I went in to browse for my 6 y.o. nephews birthday gifts. An extremely nice gentleman (Manager – Guessing probably the owner?) and his wife and all of the staff greeted me at some point during my visit. He asked me if he could show me some things my nephew might like and then let me look. I purchased more than I intended to when I went in because of the AMAZING customer service. I bought 5 playmobil deep sea kits, coming to about 100 $, which is fair price. They wrapped each gift in cute wrapping paper – each one individually – and then tied it into a cute tower of gifts. The man even suggested a scratch and sniff bday card… which is going to be a total hit. If you are looking for a high-​quality shop where you get treated the way customers should… go here. They were even so so so nice to the little kids in the store too. EVERY person who walked in was greeted like they were old friends.
