I had my daughter’s 4th Birthday party today and couldn’t have been more pleased! Most of the guests were not local or familiar with the restaurant but raved over the food. The staff was lovely and accommodating and helped with setup. They were very proactive with everything.

Luigis was one of the best Pizzeria’s around. It’s gone downhill. Don’t know what happened. Kept on giving this place extra chances, thinking that maybe it was an «off» day for them, but the quality of food and preparation is just plain bad! This is the last straw! Rubbery and sour chicken parms, wings that were once tasty are now dry with almost no sauce… a half tray with wings arranged so scarcely that you would think it’s a half of a half tray, tasteless pasta dishes, getting the orders all wrong and much more! Don’t know if they have a new chef or what but it’s time for me to move on. Hubby even told me this is the last chance we gave them. Krispy here I come!

I honestly do not understand how can someone give this place more then one star, unless you are an owner’s relative, or on drugs. Today’s pizza(large pepperoni $ 16!!!) had exactly 10 pepperoni slices unevenly scattered, cheese falling off, one side of the crust smashed by the box. Really? 16 bucks for this? No, thank you, no more food from this place for me.

Wow, mixed reviews. My pizza was good but the garlic bread loaf was the best I have had in the area. A few hours later, the garlic bread haunts you. Not sure if I repeat this place or not. Bacci coal pizza also on route 516 got better taste.

Sorry to say that we had what was probably our worst meal at Luigi’s. We attended a family celebration and I feel sorry for the host and hostess as there was nothing good about the food or service. The appetizers were passable but not good — no serving utensils with dish. Salad had absolutely no taste and we thought there was no dressing on it, but there was. Entrees were horrible, the chicken Sorrentino with prosciutto, eggplant and«fresh mozzarella» in a Marsala wine sauce was None of those things and should be taken off the menu. There was nothing fresh or good about it. And chicken parmigiana is so basic you would think you couldn’t go wrong… maybe the sauce was passable but again the chicken was terrible. They do not serve decaf coffee and regular coffee was served in styrofoam cups! The service was also not good and the servers left a lot to be desired. They say they serve parties up to 50… don’t believe it, we were about 30 and did not have enough room and the AC was inadequate! If it weren’t for this very happy occasion, the evening was a bust. Again, we feel for the hostess giving the dinner, it should have been free! We can’t imagine how Luigi’s stays open.

Used to order from this place all the time, but don’t know what’s been going on lately! Today was the final straw. Ordered a pie, antipasto salad and garlic knots and they said we could pick it up in 20 minutes. Apparently 20 mins was really 45 and they forgot to mention that as I stood at the counter waiting for my food at the time they said it would be ready. The cashier said I was waiting on garlic knots which I assumed were going to be super fresh since I had to wait 20 minutes for them… oh the contrary though! The garlic knots were rock hard, stale, and barely edible! And to add insult to injury they left the dressing out for the antipasto salad, seriously?! And the pizza? It was super doughy and undercooked. Again, I don’t know what happened to the old Luigi’s but I know I won’t be coming back until they figure it out!

Real Italian cuisine here. The best I’ve had since moving from NYC. I have ordered delivery and it was here within a half hour that’s awesome since I am used to the fast pace city. I recommend to everybody that loves real New York tasting pizza to go to Luigis. Great service and incredibly amazing pizza. They have the best chicken parm sandwiches. There sauce actually has taste and flavor unlike other pizzerias around the neighborhood. Quality is important to me and this place has it all. I will definitely be going back to try their grandmas pizza, I’ve heard it’s one of their specialties.

I just moved to Old Bridge and I needed to find a new place to order from. I just ordered a couple sub sandwiches from this place and they were lack luster to say the least. I got the chicken Tuscany sub and my friend got the tuna. The chicken barely had any chicken and while it wasn’t the worst sub I ever had it was far from good. The tuna lacked tuna, it was 90% lettuce. The French fries were good, not soggy like you would normally receive from pizzerias. The service was fast but they forgot to apply my coupon and over charged me by $ 8. When I called to tell them they kept making excuses about taxes… I was unaware taxes were higher just at this restaurant but they eventually agreed to give me $ 5 off my next order«if I remind them,» they can keep it because I will never order from here again.

My parents went to Luigi’s on Wednesday October 31, 2012. It was a state of emergency due to Hurricane Sandy. A big sign on the door has a special sign that read.“One large cheese pizza for $ 7.99 plus tax. My Mother paid $ 13.00 for her large cheese pizza. When I called Luigis(I live in Florida) to complain for my Senior Citizen Mother. I was told that special ended last week. HA very convient. to raise your prices during a State of Emergency. I bet Luigi’s will also put a claim into FEMA that they lost all their food… as my mother did not get a receipt for her pizza… They were rude when I spoke to them on the phone and actually hung up on me… Hey Luigi’s. You reap what you sow in this world. so remember. WHATCOMESAROUNDGOESAROUND

I work in the area, so I grab lunch here frequently. Their vegetable pizza is my fave, it is fresh and full of flavor. Their salads are always fresh too. The service is good, too.

We placed the order today for delivery and the whole process from ordering to getting our dinner took a total of 30 minutes! The person who took the order and delivered it was extremely nice and thorough. We ordered a lot of food and everything came out perfect. The food was GREAT. I really recommend the buffalo chicken roll, it’s delicious. The pizza is the best pizza around here. I wish we found them sooner! I feel like I’ve been missing out. Definitely will be reordering from there soon and working my way through that menu because everything looks awesome.

Just paid $ 12 for a wrap that tastes sour. Overpriced and disappointing.

Had a play day for one of my kids and they wanted pizza so happen to see this place and stopped in. Wow what a deal $ 7.99 for a large cheese pie so ended up getting two for the kids. They seem to enjoy the pizza however I thought they lacked sauce on the pie. Maybe its different when you buy the regular when not on the special price. Will have to try it and see.

Great Pizza! As a recently relocated New Yorker, I can tell you that this place is the closest thing to Bronx pizza I have had in NJ. They do a great job with that wonderful thin crust! Try the Eggplant Rollatini and the Margherita pizzas– they are wonderful. Their pasta entrees are very good too– on a Friday night when we do not feel like cooking, Luigi’s comes in very handy.
