ENT and Allergy Associates

I had a horrible experience with the ENT Surgeon Dr. Farhad Chowdhry. He was nice but recommended surgery for a sinus infection that turned out to be just allergy symptoms. When I asked if nasal spray or allergy meds would help, he said no. After my insurance company denied surgery, I was desperate for relief. I went to St. Peters and was seen by a physician’s assistant who explained that I should have had a ct scan with contrast instead of without because it would show more. I did and to my surprise, there was NO infection. You would think that after he put a camera down my nose on 3 ocassions he would be able to tell; if not, then why not order a ct scan with contrast? Good thing my insurance denied it. I’m fine now and no longer require Flonase and Zyrtec.

I’ve heard about ENT Allergy Associates on the radio. They stand behind what they advertise in that a person will be seen the same day, without an appointment. My daughter and I arrived on 6÷10÷15 without having an appointment. The front desk greeted us with a smile and processed our intake information. This office is up to date with electronic processing and had us complete the additional information on an electronic hand held gadget. Within 10 minutes of our arrival, we were then greeted by Vishvesh M. Mehta, MD, who was extremely pleasant and reassuring. He explained the procedure (impacted ear wax removal) thoroughly prior to and throughout the procedure. He made us feel relaxed and welcome. While he was quick, he was extremely efficient. Within minutes, our problem was completely resolved. It was a true pleasure to be received so kindly by Dr. Mehta. He was efficient, professional and sincere. The office staff were sweet, accommodating, and thorough as well. Indeed, we will recommend this place to anyone in need of ENT services. The front staff has no idea what they’re doing. I was locked out front and then I called to ask if they could let me in– she acted like I was stupid and was making up the that the door was locked. I came in and sat down for 15 minutes while she couldn’t figure out how to transfer my forms that I filled out on the computer to my account. She was getting very frustrated and acted like she had so much to do that pulling my forms would overload her day that much–
Went into the Dr. Azer, ya I’ll never go to him again. He had the personality of a nail and I felt like I was bothering him. Hello you are the doctor be a little nicer. I was his first appointment, by his third I can imagine he was a real sweetie. He also charred my nose and was very rough during my procedure. I said that hurts and he could careless and goes well that’s how it is. Okay you jerk –never again. Im pretty sure they only want your money too because I had to come back for a check up, which I obviously am not going back there to pay another copay for nothing. I gave them an extra star because the office was clean but other wise go elsewhere.
