I have been seeing Kim Minneo since I want to say I was 16 or around there…(I am 28 now). She never disappoints, does great cut and color. I even had her do my wedding a decade later! Love love her!

On January 2^nd I went for highlights. When I was finished, and went to pick up my winter coat it was gone. There was another coat almost identical to my coat left in the closet which I ended up taking because it was cold out. The girls at the front & the owner (Grace) were made aware of the situation and were to make phone calls to clients listed for that time slot. I checked multiple times the next few days with the front desk and they assured me they were following up on the phone calls. It’s important to know that I was the only one making the calls to The Art of Hair. No one from the art of hair ever called me out of courtesy to simply update me. I find this extremely unprofessional as my coat was obviously stolen since the person left a similar coat of a different size and made no attempt to return my original coat, and it is also obvious that the Art of Hair does not act professionally for their paying clients in situations such as this one. So to end I am out a coat, no courtesy phone call from Art of Hair and a thief out there with my coat. Obviously I will not be returning or recommending this place to any one.

Lisa T did my trial and bridal hair, which was a beautiful updo. She did an amazing job and it looked perfect for the whole day and night! She understood my request to make it soft looking.
Angela applied my trial and bridal makeup, which was beautiful also! She checked with me and made my requested minor adjustments. She is very nice and funny, great stress reliever :)
The music in the makeup room could be more uplifting, and less classical, but that’s not in the stylists control.

The Art of Hair is, hands down, the best place I’ve ever gotten my hair cut at. I would give them more than five stars if I could, because I absolutely cannot think of a single negative thing to say about them. The salon is beautiful and inviting, the staff are extremely friendly, and the stylists have a great deal of expertise so that you will walk out with exactly what you were looking for, or better.
I used to be more of a budget salon-​type of woman. However, I decided I wanted to go to a salon after becoming frustrated at how different each of my haircuts would come out — the unfortunate result of my haircuts being performed by different stylists each time. I decided to visit The Art of Hair after reading some of the stellar reviews written by other Unilocalers. Now, I’ve never looked back. The salon is a tad on the expensive side, but I think it is well-​worth the price — and this is coming from someone who considers herself fairly frugal!
My stylist, Jodi, is absolutely fantastic. I have never walked out disappointed. She is extremely meticulous when cutting and styling hair, and will spend as much time needed to make sure it’s right. Before going here, my hair was relatively flat with choppy layers. Now I wear a long, angled bob — a much more polished look. The other thing I appreciate immensely is that Jodi will gladly give product recommendations without continuously forcing a sales pitch on you. She is overall a wonderful person, as are all of the other employees of the salon.
Just give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

Made an appointment while I was back in my hometown for the holidays. I didn’t have time to get my hair cut in Philly and I was lucky enough to schedule and appointment with Dawn. She is beyond awesome. She wasn’t pushy at all but rather excited when she convinced me to put a little color in my hair. I have been thinking about it for awhile but couldn’t decide what I wanted. Dawn had a plan and again wasn’t pushy. She did a great job on the cut and really listened to me. Dawn even took the time to show me how she curled me hair for the tossled look. I would def recommend Dawn and this Salon. The salon itself is surprisingly huge with a separate area for color and cuts. Very clean and stylish.

Art of hair is a top notch salon with talented stylists that listen to your requests and make them a reality! I always leave with a smile and a beautiful color, cut and style… I keep coming back for more pampering and beauty! Give them a try!

I’ve tried this place a handful of times. But only because my regular girl (at another shop) moved, and they are open on Sunday. Every time that I have come though, my haircut is never right. Every girl that I’ve been too always makes me feel like she’s in a rush to get me out as quickly as possible. And $ 25 for a men’s haircut is absolutely insane! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where people actually care about cutting hair.

I could’ve done a better job myself! I wanted a lighter color for my hair– the outcome– darker than my natural hair color! An $ 80 job, could’ve done it for $ 10!
I’ve read all the reviews– this place is definitely overrated, NOT worth the money! I have to do 1 star to do a review, but I give them NO star at all! No offense Kim.

Came here recently to get my hair cut to a shoulder length kinda-​bob haircut and ombré hair coloring and while my hair doesn’t look bad, the dye job isn’t exactly what I wanted.
The stylists I met that day were all super friendly. I enjoyed chatting with them during my time at the salon. They offered me some coffee and made sure I was comfy the whole time I was there.
I love the haircut itself– the stylist cut it exactly the way I wanted. The actual color of my hair is also pretty on point; however, I have somewhat of a cross between full highlights and the ombré style. I’m naturally a very dark brunette and wanted to go several shades lighter with the ombré, to an almost-​blonde color. The color is just short of covering my roots. I showed the stylist SEVERAL pictures of what I wanted prior to her doing the coloring and she seemed very knowledgeable. I guess when my hair grows out it will eventually have the ombré look I was going for, but for now it looks like my roots need to be touched up. I would go back to get this blended in a little better but I have such a busy schedule the next few weeks I won’t be able to. So for now, just gonna rock it. Blonde highlighted/​ombré hair don’t care.

I’ve been going to Art of Hair for almost 7 years. Dawn is my stylist and I would never let anyone else touch my hair. She understands color and she will tell you what works for you, what won’t, and why. She takes her time and never rushes you out if the chair– she gives amazing customer service, as does the rest of the staff. The salon is clean and comfortable; I cannot imagine going elsewhere. Other people have mentioned prices in their reviews– just remember that a good hairstyle is never cheap and a cheap hairstyle is never good. The prices are not outrageous; you’re getting what you pay for– a high quality, professional hairstyle/​color.

Very impressed with this place! I booked an appointment for the same day completely on a whim, after my normal hair salon failed to take me on time and I got fed-​up with waiting. The receptionist at Art of Hair was super nice and got me an appointment for literally a half-​hour later. It was my first time going so I had no idea what to expect, but my stylist was lovely — she was waiting for me when I walked in, I was shampooed instantly, and then went straight into the cut. At no point, however, did I feel rushed — quite the opposite! My stylist took her time to talk to me, both listening to my concerns and offering her advice on how to achieve my Ultimate Hair Goals™. Everyone was super attentive. It helps that the price was very reasonable (below $ 50) for a wash/​cut/​style. Overall, I just got very professional and friendly vibes from the whole salon. I’m definitely going back.

This salon blew me away! The staff is so friendly and helpful, the place is beautiful and clean, and my hair comes out amazing every time!
I go to Dana and she makes me the perfect icey blonde. Very personable and professional, and gives me exactly what I ask for.
Prior to AOH I always bounced around, couldn’t find the right stylist, had my scalp burned with bleach, and left each salon so unhappy.
Art of Hair Old Bridge is as good as it gets! Love it!

Hair stylists are polite but Dana seriously has no clue how to lighten hair. Haircuts aren’t bad from her but otherwise she has no idea what she’s doing. I’m very unsatisfied with the service and I was charged $ 150 for some crappy highlights.

Wow! What an amazing salon! I got my wedding haircut here last Thursday and not only did I love it, but my guests loved it too! The owner is an incredibly nice guy and he has a friendly and passionate team. The place is beautiful and comforting and I cannot wait to be back soon and recommend it to family and friends!

I’ve been coming here for years and Kim M. is an amazing stylist! She always does my hair perfect and exactly what I want. She’s also amazing at coloring hair as I’ve done many different colors in the past few years and she always does an amazing job. Owners are very nice and they have a very talented and professional staff and clean/​beautiful salon. It’s bit pricey but definitely worth it!

Danas my girl! I was going to another salon for years… read reviews took a chance and glad I did! Great hair stylist and great with color. Evelyn is the receptionist most of the time when I go weekly, she is friendly and always confirms my appointments! Good neighborhood find!

I’ve been going to art of hair for a few years now. The salon is beautiful and the staff couldn’t be any nicer. Everyone is always asking if you need anything. Angela is my hair dresser there and she’s amazing. She never fails to give me the best color and cut. She’s always using the best products and recommending products to keep my hair healthy. I highly recommend her!

I love this salon. I have been seeing Kim Mineo for a few years and she is so fabulous with color. My blonde always looks bright and never brassy.

After almost a year away I came back to Art of Hair for a botched ombré job I had gotten in the city. Dawn took my orange (literally orange) hair and turned it into a beautiful chestnut brown. I went from wearing a huge knit hat to cover my shame to beautiful locks within an hour.
I don’t know why I ever left, this salon is amazing. Great stylists that produce just really quality work. The best blowouts around! I am so happy to be back!

After years of diy, and letting my hair fade a lot, I decided to let someone else color my hair. Read the reviews here and looked at their instagram. So, I took the plunge.
Regina did an amazing job! My hair has reds and some purple red. She also gave me a great cut. And she’s cool.
