Wellness Center Pharmacy

I used to love this pharmacy but for some reason after ownerhsip changed the pharmacists struggled every time to ring up my prescriptions. They would make excuses that it was my fault and perhaps the FSA card is not active or not enough funds on the card, rather than blame their antiquated system. What should only take 5 minutes to pick up a refill drags out for a full hour every time! I went in on Saturday at 2:00 pm to pick up refills totalling $ 602.00 (being a cancer survivor isn’t cheap) and wanted to put it on my FSA card. Well, before the pharmacist even swiped the card I heard a lot of excuses about using the card. Honestly, I don’t care what it takes, please just process the payment so I can go about my day. After a few more failed attempts at using my card and my frusration was increasing. It’s not bad enough that I have to take over 20 pills a day to go on functioning or that my insurance copays are $ 600 for a 90 day supply, but these heartless pharmacists that go around blaming the customer and their payment methods for a terrible computer system.
The pharmacist who took my refill order over the phone was even unprofessional when I asked her to verify the quantity of my medication she replied «it’s a lot of pills!». I was asked to call the back of my card and get off line, at this point I saw red and lost my cool and raised my voice demanding that they assist me. The «owner» of the company who only offered the name «Patel» started to yell at me. This is when I lost all my patience for this pharmacy. They sucked up an hour of my time, couldn’t process my payment (this has happened in total 4 times now) and they were horribly rude and treated me like I was the problem. I’m a paying customer with private insurance, forgive me if I’m trying to save money by using a flex spending card that has untaxed money for medical purposes!
Save yourself the time and frustration, don’t fork over your hard earned cash and precious time to these callous people that pose as pharmacists.

Extremely warm and helpful staff. It’s always a pleasure to interact with them. They go the extra mile to help and I always leave with a smile on my face. If you don’t have a preferred pharmacy you should make them yours.

I have heard of this pharmacy before, about it being «new age» and not like the other ones. Turns out compounding pharmacies are not dime a dozen, and are even more scarce when you need them. Compounding pharmacies, btw, will mash a bunch of stuff together, like guacamole, to make you a custom combination based on your doc’s RX. This typically is not a service you can find at Walgreens or CVS.
Couldn’t find any in my area via Google or Unilocal.Then I remembered this new age shindig. Called them up and was surprised to find out they mash guac.
The main pharmacist, Jenn, is super friendly. She processed my RX quickly and gave me a thorough explanation of what needed to be done in what order.
They also have hard-​to-​find baby items that CVS doesn’t carry like chamomile extract teething drops.
Glad to know these guys are across the highway from me.
