Honestly HORRIBLE! Went there twice. Both times my gel manicure chipped the next day. Went back to get it fixed because I had an event to go to and the girl who fixed them did an even worse job, if that’s even possible. A manicure is supposed to be a relaxing experience and the longer I sat there the more annoyed I became. The redo came out blotchy and started to bubble. Waste of time and money. Never again.

I really wanted a mani/pedi after being on my feet for 14 hours. I’m a teacher and I work with kids so I was really looking forward to relaxing while I got my feet rubbed. I haven’t lived around here long so I decided to try it. Through the majority of my pedi there were little children running around and screaming. The girl barely rubbed my feet. As for my manicure, I had to ask the woman to clean under my nails and had to point out the dirt to her, even after she«cleaned» them. Overall, it wasn’t a very relaxing or pleasant experience. Needless to say, I won’t be going back.

April Nails is great! It’s very clean, reasonable in price, and all the workers are very friendly. The best part is show the owner’s daughter any nail design and she can do it, and it’s spot on! 100% going back!

I have been going to April Nails since we moved to Old Bridge in January. I get basic manicures, no fancy stuff.(Not a fan of the fake looking fat nails, ew.) Their salon is very clean, they have a very large variety of colors to choose from, and their colors are current and trendy. The prices for a basic manicure are the best around. It’s $ 10. Salons who charge more than that are robbing you in my opinion. What I appreciate most is that the ladies there, although not native English speakers, do not talk to each other in another language while taking care of customers. Everyone is friendly and kind. I have also had my eyebrows waxed there and I will never go anywhere else as I finally found someone who shapes the brows instead of just tearing them off.

Disclaimer: Getting my nails done is an intimate experience and with language barriers added to the mix, it makes me very uncomfortable to speak up. I really hate having to do that… I went here as they are the only nail salon in the area that does silk wraps. I wanted clear silk wraps so I could wear clear polish only(color always chips on my nails — even gel & I don’t have time for that kind of maintenence) and my tips are very white so I can create a French manicure w/o the painting hassle. I go in, after calling and told to come now, and the technician is ready. Good sign right? I tell her what I want and she says no problem… But there were… many. I had to interject and provide consistent feedback: 1. shaping was going wrong, not at all the shape I came in(soft rounnd edges) with and asked to maintain(she did very harsh/slanted square round) 2. then she shortened the length of my nails through too much«shaping» 3. nails are then uneven(two nails are shaped as if she was going to give me the stiletto shape that is very popular right now) 4. then when it came to buffing the nails after adding silk, powder and glue, my wraps are of uneven thickness and she had to keep going back over my nails, REPEATEDLY! Yet she kept reassuring me she sees her mistakes and«no problem». Lastly she tried to paint my nails with clear polish bc she said they would no longer be cloudy once painted. Of course that was some BS! She did two nails and I said please stop and so she called manager over. 90 mins after she started, I have now ended up with powder dusted(not clear), uneven thickness and shaping, silk wrapped nails! Finally I was like, I have to go and I am not happy with this work. The man running the place went back and forth with me over the results. I Googled several pics of clear silk wraps and how this looks NOTHING like that despite him saying, yes it does and«No one can see cloudy on nail in picture.» Finally he was like just soak them off. I was like I have been her 90 mins and don’t have time. Let me pay for it and go. Then he was like $ 50… Full price! You have got to be kidding. So I started listing all the issues and he was like OK $ 40. I begrudgingly handed over my card: I just wanted out! They were going to charge me $ 50 and I feel I deserve to get what I am paying for and a clear silk wrap it wasn’t It has been less than a week and they are lifting, cracking and chipping as the pics show. I even put my own clear polish on(3x) and you can still see white powder as bright as day. I DONOTRECCOMEND, UNDERANYCIRCUMSTANCE!

Quick service. Decent people. Service is not AMAZING enough for the prices they charge. It’s a run of the mill nail salon. Good for a quick mani or pedi but not a place is go to get pampered.
