We love this place. We’ve been members here for quit sometime now and we still love it. We love the staff and the members as well. Everyone is so friendly to each other and they get to know you and your family and your goals… actually eventually everyone becomes family. This place is not fancy, they do not have an outdoor pool, or a sauna for you to melt in after your workout, or a fancy juice bar on your way out but it’s the people that keep me here and the fact that they actually care for my kids and love them as much as I do! It truly is a family friendly environment!

My kids have done back to back sports through the Olathe YMCA for 2 years and have been impressed with every season. Honestly, it’s the best place in town for kids to start sports as you just cannot beat the price for each sport.

Love this place. Love the gym and what they have to offer, from classes to weights they have a great variety do all work outs. What I really like about this place is they are great with kids. My son goes to child watch so my husband and I can work out. The staff is great and always welcoming.

I really like this YMCA. It’s not the biggest, but it has all the amenities that my family needs. Both my husband and I like to run on the treadmills and we’ve never had any problems getting a treadmill. The walking track is tiny and wraps around the machines & weights, so if you’re looking for something other than a treadmill, this is probably not your YMCA.
The classes are a good mix of packed to small, depending on when you come. I really loved the Pilates and cycling classes when I went to them (pre/​post pregnancy).
Now that we have a little one, we use their Child Watch services regularly. The ladies that watch my son are wonderful. Sometimes it appears that they’re a bit understaffed, but that might just be the occasional scheduling issue.

This is my go to YMCA since 2006 because it is merely down the street from my home. Being that, when I worked for the YMCA, I never worked here. However, the staff is friendly. They try their best to remember you and help you. Even when I took a two year leave from the YMCA, I came back and it was like I never left. It is kept clean and updated. They give out surveys for classes and listen to what is wanted. They have many other activities besides just the gym part also. This YMCA feels like what a true YMCA was first established to be, a great addition to the community.

The great thing about Y memberships, is that you can use them anywhere. We signed up at this Y and have enjoyed it.
