I’m a few months late in writing this review but happy to do so based on the quality work done by Dan and his crew at my home back in August ’13. I initially called Gordon Energy due to some drainage issues in my backyard which resulted in my basement flooding last summer. I consulted a few companies prior to Gordon and each one of them wanted to dig up half of my yard to create«swells» that would hopefully capture running water and displace it to the sides of my yard. I had Dan come over to access the situation and offer his opinion — which I liked best. We decided to dig a french drain and cover the top with decorative river rock. All of the work was completed as promised. I can’t believe they finished the entire project in one day! The crew was quick and friendly and did a great job cleaning up once the project was complete. Based on my positive experience, I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Dan and Gordon Energy.

HORRIBLE Service… I called them to schedule an estimate and the lady that answered did not want my business. She said someone would call me back in 2 days & I did not hear back ever. So after 5 days of waiting, I called again to ask why I had not received a call & she then explained it was her job to set appointments. WOW, she lied the first time I spoke to her. Not sure why she didn’t want to set appointment the 1st time I called. During the 2nd call, she again seemed to hesitate setting up appointment and told me that nothing was available til December.2 months from now. At that point I didn’t want Gordon Energy’s business. I called Gordon’s competitor company and other company made an appointment without any issues. I have major foundation cracks inside and outside my house with some foundation floor issues in garage. Gordon Energy lost business! I give Gordon energy NEG stars b/c they have really bad service.

I can’t thank the team at Gordon Energy enough for their professionalism, kindness, and quick response. My husband and I recently purchased a home with a walkout basement that was built in 1974. Until this Spring, we didn’t have a sump pump and no one ever suggested that we needed one. Unfortunately, we ended up with water in our basement and lots of carpet that had to be ripped out. They installed a sump pump with battery backup and suggested changes we could make to the grading around our foundation. Thanks to Gordon Energy, that will NEVER happen again!

I recently experienced rain water entering my basement. After a phone consultation, Joe was dispatched to examine the situation. Several options of the cause of this problem were discussed, but was told since my basement was finished, the dry wall would need to be removed for complete problem diagnosis. I was expecting that… dreading the extra work… but still expecting that answer. Joe took the time to explain the common problems of foundation failure and the options that would be presented if each possibility was confirmed with the wall down. Second visit: wall had been removed to expose the entire wall, no evident cause of my moisture was present. He spent almost two hours here with the water hose against the foundation saturating the soil to expose the problem area. An unexpected issue interupted our diagnosis, unrelated to the job at hand, and halted this visit. On the third visit, the problem was exposed as a faulty seal in the basement window that had been changed in the last two years. A simple fix to what I had envisioned as a mega– dollar foundation issue. I was told there would be no charge, even after three trips to the property. and with todays fuel prices!. I appreciate the fact that this company showed me honesty, and compassion when I experienced an emergent problem that ended their second visit abruptly. Asking only that I remember them should the need for their services arise again. Believe me I will.
