Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs

My 8″ turkey sandwich tasted great. It had plenty of tasty meat on fresh, delicious, wheat bread. The service was not friendly, and not energetic, but accurate. The dining area was only fairly clean. Also, the only current promotion was the punch card. Overall, I’m thinking just A-​OK.

I had the worst experience at this location. It was not busy when I was in, there was maybe 1 person in the restaurant. It looked like there was 1 worker in the back and 1 in the front. The woman who made our sandwiches was so rude, acting annoyed the whole time we were there, basically yelled at us to talk to us. Considering we were the only person in line, I could not understand what was her problem. She seemed as if she was in charge of the other employees, if so, they seriously need to reconsider their management choices.

I am big fan of Goodcents Subs and Pasta but this location needs a lot of help. We have dined in a few times and have picked up many to go orders here and every time the dining area was quite messy. The 1 star review is because of my last encounter here. I called in and ordered a plain alfredo penne pasta to go making sure to let the person on the phone know I do NOT want chicken as I am a vegetarian. We pick it up then drive back home to find out the dish has chicken. My husband called up the restaurant to notify them of the situation hoping they would have someone able to deliver the proper order or at least be interested in making their customer satisfied. Instead he explained the situation to one person who promptly tells him to hold on and transfers him to the person to takes phone orders who blatantly tells him that his wife is lying and specifically asked for chicken. Not letting him explain that his wife orders the same thing all the time and ALWAYS says make it vegetarian, she tried to argue with him and we were left feeling like we were somehow trying to cheat them. So I was left to fend for myself and my husband will have a chicken pasta for tomorrow I guess.

I have been getting sandwiches here for 23 years. A great place. Owners really nice and have worked with me for years to make lunches for science Olympiad tournament sponsors. Sid and crew are great. Friendly and good food.

I think this is a good sub chain. They have hot and cold subs, soups, pastas and flatbread pizzas. And don’t miss their huge chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies and brownies at the checkout counter.
What I love about this place is the sub just taste so fresh every time. You walk in and smell the bread baking. They make your sub to order with fresh toppings. Then buy a big cookie and walk away happy.
They don’t have as many bread choices as subway, bread made in house white and wheat. Then asiago cheese on footlong only. They also have low carb bread on a «snacker» size sub. Their sub size options are 4 in mini, 8 in half and foot longs (some $ 5 specials).
They also make party trays and cater. I’ve done the party trays before for a few work events and they go over very well. They even do online ordering.
I’d like to see a few more hot subs on their menu and also the toasted option. But overall they are a good place to grab a bite.
