I am not in the target demographic for this kind of store — I am *so* not a gamer — but the Boy is. As the mom of an underage gamer, I appreciate the staff here. They are helpful & not pushy on the upsell, which is nice when you have a teenager with a limited income from his part-time summer job. They also do a good job for those ridiculous midnight releases, where you can arrive early, check in, & get your slip that says you’ve paid before you go stand in line. Once the magic hour arrives, they crank through the line so fast that, despite being near the end of the line, we were home by 12:20 or so.(Then the kid played the dumb game for fourteen hours straight, but that’s a different part of the story.) It’s in an outdoor shopping center between Target & the movie theater, so parking is never much of an issue. They have also asked for parental verification that he is allowed to purchase an M-rated game, so they take the age restrictions seriously, at least on a release night. Nice to know.
