Larry S. Our electric oven would not come to temperature and would shut off and lock while preheating. We were fortunate to get a same day appointment and Jerry Jr. was very professional, courteous and thorough. We felt he was very cost conscious with the repair and very meticulous in the process. We are relatively new to Olathe and finding services of any kind feels like a guessiing game. Fine Appliance Repair was a good guess and if necessary, will be our choice for appliance repair in the future.

A KitchenAid refrigerator I had for about 5 years stopped cooling. I contacted a local big name service company who diagnosed the problem as a bad compressor. He said the refrigerator wasn’t worth fixing, but said they could sell me a new one for $ 1900 and would haul the old one away. I passed and paid him about $ 80 for the service call. I decided to get a second opinion and contacted Fine Appliance Repair. The tech arrived, quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad relay and was wrapping up in about 45 min. I paid him less, including the part than I did for the other so called professional. He also told me it was very common for this relay to fail. Based on my experience with Fine Appliance Repair, they will be my FIRST call whenever I need appliance repair. Honest, Friendly and interested in doing what was right for the customer.

This is a great service company and very trustworthy and honest. Amy C. is right about the man on the phone, down-home is a perfect description. Not rude at all just not probably what you’re used to when calling a company. I believe the son is the service man and he was very direct with me about the problem we were having with our refrigerator. They’ve also serviced our dishwasher. You never know what you’re going to get with service repair these days but you can be sure you’ll get good work and honesty with Fine.

A friend recommended this service. I was a bit leery when I first called, I would say the person manning the phone is not very polished. Certainly they weren’t rude or unprofessional at all, just down-home. I was able to get a quick appointment to get my washer repaired. The serviceman showed up promptly when scheduled and was courteous. He was careful not to track mud or water through my house as it was pouring down rain when he arrived. The actual repair took about an hour. He showed me what the problem was — incidentally the washer had warranty work for the same issue soon after I bought it — the Fine Appliance repairman charged $ 30 less than the contractor who did warranty work for Whirlpool three years before. I felt I was treated fairly and the cost was cheaper than I expected. I would recommend Fine Appliance Service to anyone.
