The place was standing room only at 11AM. I ordered the special to go. Had to get out of the crowd. The chicken k-​Bob was a tad under done and only 4 small pieces of meat. Came with Greek salad that was uninspired. I was going to get a desert but they are not home made so I passed. Service was slow but like I said they were packed. Price was fair.

My favorite restaurant in city of Okeechobee has close down. Look Unilocal for help and this restaurant came out. The day we went there the phone line is down and they told us they can accept cash only before they seat us.
I check my wallet and we have some dinero, let’s eat. This place interior seem like similar to Shoney’s furniture set up. We have ordered the fried shrimps, grilled shrimp and the philly cheese steak. This location is dead center of Florida and minimum 2.5 hours away from the coast line. However, I have good jumpy shrimp. They do grilled it to the right amount of burn. I like it that way.
I would recommend this restaurant if you stop by the city. It do not give me a wow factor but it has good ingredients and materials. Can ask more for the freshness. The service is great and friendly. Solid restaurant.

We stopped here for lunch and I decided to try the Reuben. For you Reuben fans out there you know that they are either wonderful or terrible, there doesn’t seem to be much in between. This was probably the best Reuben I’ve ever had! The meat melted in my mouth. They came with a side of seasoned fries that were crispy to perfection and seasoned enough to be tasty without being overly done. We will certainly be revisiting this place soon. The décor is nice and the waitress was very attentive and pleasant. We never had to ask for any refills on our beverages as they were topped off as soon as they saw them half full.

Not a lot of fish choices. No wine by the bottle. Prices ok. This place is a kind of Denny’s, just nicer. $ 2.00 Coronas and Millers. We ordered a Greek salad (Greek is just the name) and took off. No many choices around though.

Delicious food. Very fresh and generous portions. Had a great grilled salmon on top of a Greek salad. The Pork Kebab was tender. A very clean and friendly place. Waitress was happy lady.

My family and I went to lakeside for breakfast. We had a very attentive waitress named Amber. She remembered everything we ordered and had an awesome attitude. The place was clean and again, the service was great! The food was delicious and the price was just right. I am ready to try out their lunch menu! Stay tuned ;-)

Both my husband and I had a cup of clam chowder that was absolutely delicious. I had a seasonal salad with the raspberry vingerett. The salad was the best ever that I have had. I wish I could have the recipe for the salad dressing. My husband had a turkey salad which was huge and very good. Portions are large and very good. If ever in town again we will certainly be back.

We are so impressed with this restaurant we really urge you to stop and dine. Tita M. is right that the restaurant is pretty inside, very clean and enjoyable. The staff is friendly and attentive. It was busy at lunchtime on a Saturday but the food came out quickly nonetheless. And what GREAT food it was!!! They make really fresh food and it has a homemade flavor — they bake their own breads and desserts. I had the Reuben and coleslaw and it was as good as it gets. Delicious. My lady had the Greek salad with chicken and it was spectacularly fresh. She said it was the best she has ever had! See the picture I posted. They warmed up the cherry pie for us and topped it with whipped cream, and we loved every bite — all I can say is «you better move over Grandma you’got competition now!» This is a gem of a restaurant you should really choose whenever you are in Okeechobee.

Very nice and clean place to eat. Pretty good size venue. I was pleased with my reuben sandwich. Pretty good food. Have not tried dessert, but it’s supposed to be prepared as you order it. The server was very knowledgeable and accommodating with attention to details. We were pleased with everything. Will come again when in the area.
