FCL has made the very most of their every square inch. You can literally browse for hours. Many inspirational quotes to read scattered about Unique, one of a kind merchandise I had more fun in the«hallway’ than the actual store Amazing gift ideas. There’s something for everyone. Looking at prices, some items were over-priced. But that is just my opinion. Tourist destination Don’t walk by. Walk through… You’re sure to enjoy

Loveliest vibes ever. Couldn’t get enough of this store. I can spend hours exploring plants or reading Rumi and Hafez quotes all around the shop. Come in and get lost.

I wandered into the gorgeous entrance way of Fig and fell more in love with each step. It’s not a very big space but every inch of the place had another item that I wanted to buy. There are so many unique gifts in there that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. The workers are pleasant and helpful and the prices are actually more reasonable than you’d expect at a place like this. I wish I had a place like this closer to where I live. I’d be here all the time. I have no complaints about Fig.

My favorite store I have walked into in a long, LONG time. The garden items are really different from what you can find elsewhere… very eclectic, fun, modern. And the home section is just AWESOME. Beautiful, beautiful curation of goods that will make you want everything. Owner is clearly very modern bohemian(or boho chic, whatever you feel like calling it). From beautiful, handwoven vintage Peruvian rugs, to organic baby swaddling gifts, you will find ideas for everyone on your gift list even if you didn’t know you had one. I saw about 19 things that I wanted to buy for other people, and about twice as many I wanted for myself. :) And it seems all of their items are either local, or from charity based companies that give back with each purchase. LOVE.

As far as gifts and housewares this place is one of the coolest shops on the face of the planet. They feature original works and some of the coolest enamel ware I’ve ever seen. The shop itself is situated down a long path in between 2 other spaces. The long entrance is full of awesome patio and garden items. In the shop they have tons of great stuff like picture frames, stained glass, succulent plants and a huge assortment of folding patio chairs and tables. I think the best thing about this place is the original and vintage goods.

you’ll definitely find craft inspiration here. it’s tucked into a little alley/store front which makes it feel like a little escape. super interesting and unique succulents, cacti and air plants here, all in nicely arranged ways. it feels very well curated and intentional. one day, when i can justify spending this much on ornamental trinkets, i’ll fill my home with such goodies.

I can not say enough good things about this charming shop! While visiting Ojai this weekend, as luck would have it, I wandered into an adorable alley and at the end of it was Fig, the most charming shop filled with truly curated(and surprisingly affordable) goodies for the home, body, and more. I’d have spent an hour and bought half the store if my puppy wasn’t being impatient(the woman who worked there was very sweet to him and to us). Upon arriving home, I found that one of the lotions I’d purchased had a stuck pump. I’d also accidentally picked up the wrong scent. I called Fig and spoke with a lovely woman named Victoria who offered to send me a new lotion in the scent I’d intended, and she didn’t even ask me to send back the defective one. When does that kind of customer service ever happen?! WOW is all I can say. I wasn’t planning to go back to Ojai anytime soon, but I’d make a trip just for Fig. I am so impressed with them! Perhaps they’ll grace LA with a store here one day… would fit in very well on Melrose west or Abbot Kinney. :) If you’re in the Ojai area, don’t miss going to Fig!

first and foremost, the hopscotch at the entrance really sets the mood. everything in this store is perfectly curated to create a peaceful and homey feeling. everything from the candles to the california themed goods were perfect. i really liked the quotes that were spread throughout the store. my boyfriend and i took the time to read every single one. a great hidden treasure and worth the visit!

This place is a bit tough to find, but has a great collection of local crafts and gift items. Its a very unusual space. You enter off the main street in Ojai down corridor that’s a bit of a garden area, then it opens out into a very airy enclosed room. Items carried includes jewerly, hostess items, small art pieces, fabric arts, all with a taste of the Ojai flair. If you like the vibe in Ojai, either as a resident or a visitor, you’ll likely find something you like there. Victoria is the owner, who picks out all the pieces she carries. She’s very friendly and helpful.
