I absolutely Love the Laura Burger that I WAS ordering on a regular basis until the chef was changed and they could not seem to get it right unless it was a certain person cooking, Thank you Jackie, Toby and then Mike(thru my instruction on a personal visit one day instead of my usual pick up and eat at home). Then my ordering got less frequent because those particular people were not available from every weekend to less than once a month. When I call again I was told they had no idea what is was again or how to make it. Another new chef, A double Mushroom Swiss on Rye with garlic should not be a problem for any chef in my opinion. It is ridiculous and I should not be questioned by the bartender why I am asking who is cooking at the moment, only to be snapped back with«it shouldn’t really matter”{by the way i agree if they could make the burger which is not the case}only to be told that the new chef actually doesn’t know how to make that burger would you like to order something else. Its really to bad because I am just tired of trying & its delicious!!! I think if someone is willing to pay $ 13.00 for a burger and when you get it right she gives you Rave reviews you would try to keep her happy. If I were not disabled I would just make it for myself all the times I want it, I will miss the burger because this last call was condescending and rude to me and I just think unnecessary, I have come back multiple times even when it had to be brought back and fixed and the person cooking just couldn’t seem to get it right, or they did fix it whatever the problem I kept coming back hoping for the Best Burger. But I believe I am done trying.

Very yummy! Their wraps are awesome. Their fries are fresh cut. The ravs and broth always hit the spot. Their take out is always fast and hot. Very busy and parking isn’t always great, but it’s worth it.

Don’t be fooled by the look of the building and the thought that it might be a dark bar. Great folks and really good food. Even if you’re not a drinker like us weirdos.

I had heard good things about this bar and grill, so decided to give it a try. I ordered the special, pierogis, while my boyfriend had chicken strips and fries. We both loved our meals! There aren’t too many places in the Illinois Valley that serve pierogis. Our server was attentive and very fun. It was great to have a home cooked meal in «homey» Oglesby. We will definitely be back!

Located in downtown Oglesby, MJ’s is an okay addition to the B&G business in sleepy Oglesby. We had fried chicken, rib eye, ravioli and a burger. They were all o-kayish but nothing stood out as special. The beer selection is adequate but again, nothing special. Our server was spacey and kept wandering off and forgetting us. The bill was $ 56 for sandwiches and about 9 beers. MJ’s is okay but for better bar food, try Canal Port in Utica.
